Where are all the short cuts located? On the cruise track there is one in the hole underneath the upper deck and I found another in Star cup where you have to fall off and then there is a track leading some wher but I for get which track it is. How do you unlock the 4th cup like there is in the N 64 version? Is there an unlockable backwards and 200CC modes?:)

Oh you mean the one where you fall a bit and there is a track leading somewhere? I saw that track when I fell off so I know about that one.:) Anybody who knows anything MKDD please post about shortcuts or cheats.:)

you have the first 3 Cups, getting a Special Cup (a Forth) and an All Tour Cup (all 4 Cups in 1 (Not in order)). you have 50 CC, 100CC, 150CC and Mirror. Thats 150CC and everthing is like a Mirror. Instead of Right, you need to go Left etc. And don't remember how to unlock the Special Cup. Thoguht it was, when you Win the Star Cup in 150CC or something

nah its not that simple... you hafta beat all the cups... id try for gold in all of em tho... cuz thats the only way to unlock all the characters... have fun!!

Oh it is the same way as Super Mario Kart 64? Man that is going to be really hard because I can barely even make it to 1st place and I only did it one time in flower cup. My sister got me a couple of extra cars and 2 trophies in mushroom and flower both gold but I think she just got lucky.:)

That one isn't a short cut, IIRC, it's an alternate route - that from my memory was slightly slower than the normal way.

Umm. There's an obvious shortcut in the Waluigi(or Wario) Stadium. Whichever one was really long and had two laps. You go over the huge hole near the end with the rainbow-booster, rather than going around either way.

On the desert level there is a shortcut that requires two mushroom boosts. At the start of the level turn right a little in and use your boosts to cut across the section. Don't go too far into the darker dirt, because that's an out-of-bounds.

on the DK level, go to the right of the track when it gets bumpy when you reach the mountain. It should be smooth. You go faster on smooth ground rather than bumpy ground.

On the final pass on the city-ish level, if you have a boost, the veryyyy right of the hole- there is enough to drive on. You go too slow without a boost.

On the yoshi level you can jump the first pit with a boost. (Also works in MKDS with snaking)

uhh. There's probably a lot more I'm forgetting. A stop by gamefaqs.com will probably tell you them all.

Thanks. Maybe I should get the players guide if Nintedo still has it in stock but thanks for your help. Oh how do you get to the track where you fall a bit and there is a track leading somewhere? I found it in star cup and it is on the mario track I think.:)

Youre thinking of Yoshi circuit then. Marios circuit only has 1 that i know of but you need 2 mushrooms or a star to do it.

That is the one I was thinking of because I found it by falling off the track by accident since the stick is a bit touchy when you turn a corner.:)
