Mario Kart Wii's wifi is really fun, hopefully I can get in the tournament despite you already having 12 people.

@Afro-G 3 Months ago my friend told me there were characters called Dry Bowser and Funky Kong. I thought he was joking. ;~;

xD I remember when my brother brought home MKW and had unlocked just enough characters so it looked like the character roster was full. Little did we know there would be other characters like:
Baby Daisy, Fucky Kong, Dry Bowser, etc... to unlock

Definitely some characters you wouldn't expect to see...

Oh. :[ I sometimes find it funny sometimes that my friend can't do stuff like Special Cup on Mirror Mode because it Mario Kart just comes naturally to me... =P

I'm quite good at mariokart, But I hate that MKW is so luck based, and that the better you do, the more bad stuff happens to you...

Well, they made it so that if you're in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd you're less likely to get a Bullet Bill or a King Mushroom or something like that to make it more balanced, but yes I do agree that the game is a bit luck based.

I play mario Kart Wii,and I think it's a great game! :D I'll be in the tourny. I also might be making a group just for Mario Kart,so be sure to look out for that.

Well, I have to PM TDL because he's one of the moderators of the whole User Tournament section, and I'm not entirely sure where to put a non-pokemon wi-fi tournament on these forums...

Oh, and this gives us plenty of people to play! This is having a pretty good turnout. :)

Oh, and I don't have all the characters, but I have all the characters that I actually play with, so it's good enough for me. I'm currently doing Mirror Mode, which is surprisingly easy...

Today I tried Mirror Mode for the first time. The first stage I tried with it was Rainbow Road. Now I hate it. D=

I'm not sure if I would call MKW "luck based". There are times when you're winning and all kinds of hazards start coming after you, but there is still a lot of skill involved if you want to be good at the game.

Lol, sometimes when I play on Rainbow Road and I don't know if it's mirror or not I'll go the opposite direction of the way I was supposed to turn and completely fall of the stage. =P

Well, I suppose I could post it here...yah. I'll do that. It will probably be tonight or later, since my laptop is being stupid, and I'll probably end up borrowing my dad's.

I'm not sure if it's necessary to make a new thread just for the tournament. I'm quite sure that the SSBB tournament was posted in it's original thread. Also, how is the tournament going to work? Is it just going to be one on one races? I'm not sure if I can participate, but if you need help in any way I could probably help out.

I was thinking that we could first do a Grand Prix (four races), and ties, if there are any, will be defined with on one races. And thanks for the support.


So my idea was that we could use a form to set things off simply. It would be like this, feel free to point out prblems and such.

Wii Name:
Mario Kart Character:
Voting Course (The course you will vote for before the race):
Friend Code:


And also I figure I could count up the points as they do while you race in the non-wi-fi stuff, as in the first place person would get fifteen points, second place gets twelve, and third with ten, so on.


And in case of emergency, we could have replacements, in case someone doesn't show up.

Oh, and feel free to throw out times, since the only days I'm busy are Fridays...at least until August.
