well, i just picked up my copy a few hours ago, and wanta know if anyone else is playing it as well.

if so how do you like the story so far, who is better mario bros. or bowser, how far are you, do you like the gameplay.

anything and everything really.

discuss...
 
Have you played the other two? If so, is it the best in the trilogy? (I'm still partial to the first one.)

It's an awesome story. The Mario Bros. compared to Bowser.... They're both great, although you'll probably end up leveling up Bowser faster. I wouldn't say I'm that far in. Maybe halfway. Some of the best gameplay ever. Oh, and it's nice how they've updated the sprites, especially Bowser compared to Superstar Saga. And Bowser's voice from those little grunts to a full out dinosaury voice.
 
Sounds like a great improvement from the previous Mario&Luigi game. (I thought it was boring despite the shroob hilarity.) Now wait a few weeks/months to get it cheaper....

Yeah, I haven't really played it, but after reading numerous previews, watching footage, and reading reviews, the general opinion is it's the best. If not the best, second only to the first one for complete originality.

Looks like a great game though with that being said.

i'm actually about 5 hours in, the story is great, i don't want to spoil anything, so i won't say anything,

as far as the gameplay goes, i like the 1st games battle system better, simply because i liked doing the bros. moves, the knockback hammer was my favorite, in the latter 2 you use items like shells and the fire flower, it's ok, but i prefer the bros. moves the best, i had the giant battle w/ bowser against his castle, i was impressed by how it went about.



as of right now my favorite of the 3 is partners in time, who doesn't love baby weegee?
 
This game looks like it's gonna be pretty good. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get it because I've played the other Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga series games (and I enjoyed them) and I heard a lot of great things from HeatRotomFTW1997! I also heard you can play as Bowser. :O That's awesome!

I can't wait to play the New game I played the first one so many times it's my favorite out of the two, I don't like having to use four guys on the second one i just like Mario and Luigi.

i'm past that, but i can't remeber, are you stuck on the mini-game or the boss, which i think is like wiggler or something right?
 
No real trick to it. Mostly listen/see flashes, immediately find the piece that fell at that point, smash that piece and others around it until you find a spiky thingy, smash it, repeat.
 
the minigames can be somewhat difficult, but just keep trying, btw i'm stuck on the part where mario & luigi go after the dark star after bowser swallows it, can someone help, please

Hahaha, it's amazing how fast we're going through this game. I'm not paticularly stuck on rappermi's part, just not playing. As for Bulbasaur, I think I was stuck on the same thing. If you haven't already reached the trash pit, then go to the the top left of the map where there should be an entrance to another room in the top left. These game's maps are so misleading, like Pokemon guides. All the rooms are placed so that they fit on the map neatly.
 
ok, scratch that, i'm right in front of dark bowser, after he swallows fawful, and i think i'm pretty close to the end, i agree that the maps are pretty hard to navigate, :p, also this is the first game in a LONG time that i haven't used a strategy guide for, i'm proud of myself, :)
 
I bought this game a day after it came out(stupid Gamestop said it wasn't even released, liers!) and I've made it to the tower of Flyyk(However you spell it.) I definately like it more then the previous games, and you can tell a lot of work was put into it.

My only problems are that Bowser's attacks don't sound that satisfying. Not loud or powerful, just kinda wimpy. And that the touch screen controls on the Nose minigame are really bad. But I'm glad I bought it over Scribblenauts.

...Yeah, pretty far. The Dark Star was kinda hard to figure out.

...Don't sound satisfying? That's how all normal attacks are, except the hammer in this game. But yeah, the Nose minigame controls were bad.
 
does anyone here like bowser's giant battles? i hated the one were you had to chase the train, it took me like four trys, :p, stupid flame, with its blowing into the mic, hahaha
