What about putting Mawile GE in T2 deck or that have a low number of pokemons?
Since there are less pokemon than normal decks more easy is to get a supporter in the prizes.
 
Most t2 decks can't support a starter since their attack strenght late game is low compared to other decks. A tech one would be fine to cripple gallade but I wouldn't run 4.
 
T2 decks should never go with a starter as the point of the whole thing is to do quick damage. Mawile will slow you down.
