3-3 donphan hgss
4-3-4 champ triumphant
2 manaphy unleashed

3 pokemon catcher
3 max potion
3 junk arm
4 pokemon communication
4 pokemon collector
1 runis of alph
2 bianca
3 cheren
3 rare candy
3 PONT

4 double colorless
8 fight

Start with donphan and earthquake for bench damage. Manaphy in for a back up starter/hand refresh. When damage is on donphan, tag with machamp max potion and continue hitting for 100-140. Not 150 a turn due to healing from potion. I wanted to give machamp another chance plus if beartic is hot, tag helps out with retreating donphan during trainer lock. Ideas?

Thanks for the suggestions! With manaphy, should it be taken out? It seems in testing, its a decision on saving manaphy or healing a champ. Maybe more search/shuffle instead?

1. Manaphy is unleashed? it states triumphant in list XD
2. i would either keep it 2 manaphy, switch one of the for cleffa/tyrogue (personal preference) or take them out and go 1 cleffa and 1 tyrogue... i can test ur list a little since i dont have anything to do ;)

That would be great! Let me know how your testing goes. I will do the same.
PS will make the change! Lol

Tested abit (against myself though :I the deck does pretty good, i won 2 out of 3 games against different decks (extreme consistency yanmega, magneboar and tyram/reshiphlosion) a bit dissappointed that tyram held 3 pluspowers in hand against my lone donphan near the end :/ :headbang )

Awesome! Our testing is going well also. Daughter did well against google's build and a feralligator variant. Made a switch of manaphy for tornadas. Interesting change but she likes it.

U got redshark?
if so we could playtest together ;)

This list is pretty good and did well in the little bit of testing I did. Anyway, I suggest you replace the Bianca with Switch. Bianca was always, whenever I got it, inferior to PONT or Cheren at that point, and the lack of switch hurt a lot. Switch opens up tons of comboes and prevents the opponent from pulling up a energy-less Machamp and making you wait another 5 turns before you can attack or retreat. I think the energy count is a tad low as well. You could try lowering the Machamp count to 3-2-3 since you rarely need that many, although that would leave you without many basics.

The slim basic line is what hurts. That's why we are messing around with tornadus. Machamp has a built-in switch but I can see the benefit of the addition. Drop bianca and go with cheren then?

Adding another Cheren is an okay idea, but Switch is needed since Machamp's Fighting Tag doesn't work if its the one active, so an energy-less Machamp will be most deck's first target to catcher as it will stall you a few turns at least. It also helps if for whatever reason someone is using Umbreon (no one would, but the slim possibility) and you have to sit through 12 painful turns of draw-pass because of Donphan and Machamp's large retreat (keep in mind fighting tag wouldn't help much there since Machamp can't attack the umbreon either). Another neat thing about switch is that while the energy on Manaphy would usually go to waste once you're done setting up, with switch you can fighting tag in for that energy, then switch machamp out. I think you need room for 2 switch at least, and more won't hurt.

How does that look? Added switch, dropped bianca.

Looks pretty good to me but the only way to smooth it out more would be more testing. You should see how you do against decks with Tornadus because quite a few people will use that as a Donphan counter.

Doesn't ruins of alph get rid of the tornado's resistance?

That does help a lot, but I think with only 1 RoA and no way to search for it you may not get it out as often as possible. Still, the Cheren and Oak do let you go through your deck without much trouble. I guess a bit of testing is really the only way to tell.

Maybe drop the manaphy for a 1-1 donphan? Reason is to keep my primary attackers coming and not worry if/when I quake on manaphy and waste a potion.
