We can now reveal the McDonald’s “Dragon Discovery” promotion will run in the United States from January 21st until February 24th! The promotion launched in France in December and is scheduled for Austria and New Zealand for January.

My hope is that scalpers will stay away since there's nothing particular interesting here (7 cards with their special holo, but lacking any kind of McD or special logo on the cards). Also Charizard not being a holo but Drampa being one is immensely funny to me.

The boxes look nice and it's refreshing that it's not just Pikachu this time. Other than that, it's not too exciting. I guess I miss the actual toys in these Happy Meals. I'm fine if they come with cards but the joy was always getting a cool action figure or something.

I've always wondered if these McDonald's cards have any value

Last time I saw a playable card in these sets was an Eevee that could evolve when you attached an energy to it. Otherwise, I'm not sure why scalpers would have any interest in this specific set. I guess the Roaring Moon was playable? IDK. I'm just glad they didn't make the Charizard holo.
