In August we exclusively revealed the annual McDonald’s Pokemon TCG promotion will run in France from December 4th to January 21st. We do not know a U.S. release date yet.
We can now reveal the promotion will be largely themed around Dragon Pokemon. Presumably this is to celebrate 2024’s Year of the Dragon.

I have been hunting so-taro rayquaza for a while. I’m gonna get like so many of these. P.S. ask your local McDonald’s for just the toy so they can sell you them for around a dollar/pound I believe. The McDonald’s near me atleast does this

They just had to put a Charizard and Rayquaza in there? I hope they'll at least be non-holo so they end up being really common and cheap, that way there'll be less reason for people to scalp this.

I tried this for the Hello Kitty x Yugioh promo and they said the company policy is you have to buy a happy meal to have the ability to add 1 extra toy and only 1 extra. So I guess it depends on how lax your local MCD management is.

EDIT: found the policy. https://www.mcdonalds.com/ie/en-ie/family-hub/happy-meal/fair-ordering-policy.html

I actually miss the real toys they used to offer. Or at least what Burger King offered for the first Pokemon movie, Mewtwo Strikes Back. These cards are not that special, they don't even have the little M stamp like the Japanese ones from the early 2000s
