OK I probably thought the same as everyone here when I first saw him put Whimiscott into play.....but it does have an interesting place in this deck. It's first attack Windy Mischief-"move all damage from one of your bench pokemon to your opponents active pokemon" is like a Mewtwo EX Damage change for one Fairy energy. So the combo goes like this this. Get a Whimiscott on your bench with a fairy garden in play. M Gardevoir has 150 damage on it. Retreat Mega Gardevoir using Fairy Garden to put Whimiscott to your active and use Windy Mischief for 150 damage for just one energy. Everything else in this deck is pretty straight forward. Max Elixir to spread fairy energy around for Brilliant Arrow. I feel like the Whimiscott play is a highly unlikely combo to pull off but he insist on it being in the deck. Sylveon EX I guess is something he threw in just for the healing I suppose. After playing a few games against this deck with my Volcanion and Turbo Darkrai deck I noticed it's lacking consistency some but once it gets rolling it's pretty hard to stop. He only has one Shaymin EX so that can't really change.
I suggested the following:
-1 Sylveon EX
+1 Brock's Grit/Super Rod/Fisherman
Pokemon 13
