Look at my leaf!

Hey guys, I haven't been on in a while, but I do need some help. I've noticed the rotation is coming up in a few days, and I need to update my Meganium Prime deck. I was looking at the new Max Potion and thought it could replace Blissey Prime. Can anyone throw out any idea for an HGSS-on Meganium Prime deck or possibly give a skeleton decklist? Thanks!

Meganium Prime

23 Pokemon
3-2-3 Meganium prime
1-1 Blissey prime
3 Stantler
2-2 Sunflora
2-2 Yanmega prime
1-1 Metapod

23 T/S/S
3 Pokemon Collector
4 pokemon communication
2 pokemon reversal
2 Proffesor Elms
4 Copycat
3 Judge
2 Rare candy
1 Switch
2 Seeker

14 Energy
10 Grass
3 DCE
1 Rescue energy

This is just a rough list that you may wish to change, I still included blissey as you can move the grass energies away heal then move them back, but when the new set comes you can switch this for max potion if you wish. Metapod is to stop fire decks, yanmega is to snipe babies and hit well for no energy, sunflora is to search grass pokemon and Stantler is your starter.

^Thanks! That looks like a nice sample list. If I had to change it, I would make it look like this:

3 - 2 - 3 Meganium Prime
2 - 2 Yanmega Prime
1 - 1 Blissey Prime
2 - 2 Sunflora HGSS
1 - 1 Metapod HGSS
3 Stantler UL
Total Pokemon: 23

3 Collector
4 Communication
2 Pokemon Reversal/Pokemon Catcher
3 Copycat
3 Judge
2 Rare Candy
2 Switch
2 Seeker
2 Max Potion
Total T/S/S: 23

9 Grass Energy
3 Double Colorless Energy
2 Rescue Energy
Total Energy: 14

Thanks anyway for the sample list! I'm also going to use 2 Max Potion because it can be played if I can't get Blissey out, but Blissey is still nice anyway.

Yeah that looks pretty good and also quite cheap to build (apart from $20 yanmegas)!

I'd play the decklist like this:

Pokemon (24)

3-3-3 Meganium Prime
4 Celebi Prime
2-2 Blissey Prime
3 Shuckle (HGSS Promo)
2-2 Metapod HGSS

Trainers/Supporters (24)

4 Pokemon Collector
3 Professor Oak's New Theory
4 Pokemon Communication
2 Professor Elm's Training Method
4 Rare Candy
3 Seeker
3 Switch
1 Flower Shop Lady

Energies (12)

10 Grass
2 Double Colorless

Deck Total: 60

Credit goes to Josh Bangle for the deck concept again. ;)

Use Celebi Prime to attach energy to Shuckle and then
move them to your attacker via Energy Trans from Meganium.
You combo with Blissey Prime as you can move the energy to
a Pokemon with no damage counters. Play Blissey Prime for
Blissful Nurse and then move them back with Energy Trans.

^A good idea, but the deck lacks a good attacker. Also, the Celebi aren't needed and you only need 2 Shuckle as it's a bad start. Also, the trainer line isn't the best. You'll want to look at some good attackers for the deck to replace those cards, if you can't find anything grass look at Cinccino, Zoroark, etc.

Here's something that works well WITH Meganium Prime.
