Also they had to imitate the voices for many of the old Pokemon. Guess the rights to the old voice clips expired. They could still do Totodile's voice because the voice actor is still with Pokemon.

I'm genuinely surprised. That was actually half good for child-friendly fanservice. Song at the ending was a bit disappointing, but unexpected, so it gets bonus points for that, but that's pretty much it.

BTW, did Yuji Ueda come back to do his role of Sonansu?

It was alright despite the very poor animation and the fact that the narrator made me feel like I was watching Dora the Explorer. It is just a special afterall, but still worth seeing folks!

My favorite part was when Meloetta went into pirouette form and went crazy at the very end.

It was really cute and colorful like all Pikachu shorts. Meloetta was especially beautiful and the music was well done. This special made me feel very happy.
