STRATEGY:

Go second and start with either Mewtwo Ex or Landorus. Use Hoopa Ex to search out Mewtwo Ex and M Mewtwo Ex X in addition to Shaymin Ex. Search out needed trainer cards with Trainer’s Mail and Battle Compressor. The latter one can also be used to discard energies to accelerate them onto a benched Mewtwo with Landorus. Combined with Mega Turbo and Dimension Valley this should suffice to ensure a turn two M Mewtwo Ex X. Giovanni’s Plan and Vs Seeker enable M Mewtwo Ex X to ohkos HP 220 Pokémon.

As one who abuses opponents' Hoopas, I'd suggest you incorporate another AZ (or Switch) to remove it after it is Lysandre to the active position.

How is the Giovanni's Scheme (have not personally tested this yet) working for you? Seems like it would be complimentary to your deck given all the Items you're playing.
 
Giovanni's Scheme has saved me in other decks I am building now. I went a full turn with only one card and the next picking up GS, which gave me the win because all the cards I needed were there. My son has also used it in a fighting deck and that just seems unfair especially after muscle band fighting stadium and strong energy combined. It is basically a topper for turning any basic attack into a 140-200, depending on attack, shot for as little as one to two energy. This card works great with Mienshao+energy switch as well.

Thanks for the review. Would like to incorporate one Escape Rope but Hoopa is not that much of an issue since AZ can be discarded with Battle Compressor to have instant access to it. Nevertheless one Escape Rope could be nice in this deck, Any idea on how to fit it in? Giovanni's Sheme turned into a stable three cards in several new decks. The card is real versatile and helped me out a lot in Darkness, Fighting and Psychic decks. My water deck focuses on control and the Archies engine and it did not seem to fit there. Same holds for my Mega Rayquaza deck. Other than that most decks benefited a lot from it. Giovanni's Scheme is easily one of my favorit cards from this set.

Why not tech a Korrina? She can grab Landorus and any item you want (specifically Spirit Link and Battle Compressor).

Thanks for the review. Considered Korrina and Skyla but thought that more raw draw power would be more benefitial.
