One thing: You forgot Volkner's. It's one of the best draw Supporters out there. And Mars for disruption. I do agree on more drawpower Pokemon. Claydol/Uxie wouldn't be so expensive or hoarded. Unfortunately, the draw would always be a power, thus easily sniped by Gengar. :[ Shame.

dmaster out.

Ah, how could I forget him? I'll edit that in...though in practice, I haven't found Volkner's that good with Claydol around.

The "draw-power" could even come in Supporter form. The Holon Engine would be nice to see back....or something like it. Even more draw and search Pokes could work, too. We'll be getting Dodrio and Staraptor X soon, but they are inferior to their previous cards. (Mainly looking at Claydol/Uxie and Pidegot/Macargo)

With Cess. Crystal, Dialga G becomes BDIF. With Windstorm, Gechamp becomes BDIF....either way, it isn't good. I'd rather have a BDIF that doesn't donk or lock you forever, thank you.

Windstorm would be great if you want Gechamp domination, I suppose. Get rid of Unown Gs and Eneregy Gains, and destroy your own BTS after using it, too. Yup, Gechamp looks like the new BDIF...because now I ruin any chance of a comeback, by discarding your BTSs, killing your draw-power, and kill your Basics on contact.

IMO, if either Cencation Crystal or Wind Storm were reprinted, our current format would break down totaly. Gengar would become BDIF if Wind Storm were remade, and Cencation Crystal would put way to many decks to shame for sure.

Let's see what all three would do to the meta-game:

DRE: Suddenly the slower decks comeback. I could certainly see GG becoming mainstream again, and Flygon would get even more popular. Overall, I see this as a healthy change. The fast decks still could compete, but you don't need a T1 donk attack anymore to do well. Gives us even more of a variety.

Cessation Crystal: This card...is going to hurt a lot of decks. OK, after I get set-up, I simply attach Cess. Crystal onto my Active Pokemon, and you can't use your Uxies, Mesprits, Azelfs, Crobat Gs, and Claydols. Dialga G has proven Body-locking isn't cool either. Both of these combined is just sick. With nearly all decks relying on Draw-power these days, Cessation is NOT good addition to the format. We need more in the Supporter drawing department before we even dare look at this card again.

Windstorm: With Windstorm, SP decks are a thing of the past. Energy Gain and Unown G are both vital to those decks, and without them, SP decks are too slow and are crushed by Machamp. Gengar gets hurt a little bit, but then he gains a huge power boost in the end, no being able to snipe Claydols and Uxies without a care. BTS will be a thing of the past, too, and decks will start looking like Pre-Platinum decks again. The lack of Unown G, however, could make some cards more viable again, especially Special Conditions decks and decks with damage counters. Still, I see too much Gechamp domination with this, as Champ beats down your Basics and Gengar picks off your draw-power.

Here's a suggestion created by me:

-GET A BETTER SUPPORTER DRAW SYSTEM!!! Really, what do we have for draw this format? Felicity, Buck, Mars, POV, Volkner's and Mom's Kindness. How about refreshment/disruption? TGW, Looker's, Rowan, and Cynthia's. Considering some of those cards are bad, and some only work in certain decks, we need to get more in the way of draw support. With more draw support, decks wouldn't need Claydol and Uxie so bad, thus knocking Gengar down a notch. With more draw, I could see SPs and speed decks dropping a Uxie or so, though they will still keep 1 or 2 on hand. With a better draw system, some of the other cards listed could come back without as much harm, and Power-locking wouldn't be as much of an issue. Overall, this would be a welcome change for the format, and we wouldn't be screwed over when we DO lose Uxie and Claydol. Budget decks would also start to exist again, as now they wouldn't need two or three $20 cards.

A better draw system would be the best for the format, IMO, but if I had to pick one of the three listed, I'd go with DRE. GG still wouldn't become a dominant force, people.

DRE: would be a nice addition, but let's be honest...this would only make teching in an evolved pokemon much more viable in an SP deck, which would already make them more cheap than they are now, especially considering the amount of evolved pokemon that can be tech'd to make them worse (I'm sorry, I see SP decks being way more cheap than the Machamp/Gechamp donk decks, which are easily countered by just playing enough pokemon)...on the upside though, I do agree it would allow for some slower decks to show back up in the format, but would still be outgunned by a good SP deck

Cessation Crystal: Dialga G Lv. X on steroids, crack, ice, and heroin...SP decks would completely own the format...stops draw engines for Machamp donks or just draw engines period, stops Gengar's Fainting Spell, the list of what this card stops is just gaytarded...SP decks would own the format...decent HP, low energy cost pokemon, that are supplemented by trainers and supporters that no other decks can use; and with CC it will turn off anything that will allow you to be able to keep up with an already brokenly cheap deck...CC is the worse choice of the three because it would break the format...a better supporter draw system isn't nearly enough to be able to unbreak this card...you would need to bring back something along the lines of Bill...a trainer that can draw like crazy...if this would be added to the format, Windstorm would have to be brought back, and there would have to be more TRAINER draw support placed in the format, not just supporter

Windstorm: as I stated earlier in the thread, I believe this to be the best choice of the three...while it does get rid of Unown G, let's not forget that Unown G is a pokemon, so it is easily returned with Pokemon Rescue, TSD, NM, etc....so Unwon G is not a total loss...therefore not neccessarily making Machamp/GeChamp BDIF (I still have yet to see why people are so scared of those decks, if your deck runs enough pokemon then you shouldn't have to worry about donks hardly at all)...sure you can get rid of my Unown G, but only 4 times, I can have upto 12 well known ways to get it back and even more for ways not so well known ways

I think more Trainer draw support is needed instead of Supporter draw support...we have plenty in the supporter department...there has always been some kind of draw engine with poke-powers within the last few formats, just none that caused this amout of draw power, so decks are much speedier than back then...which isn't so bad, until you add super quick basic pokemon that get are even faster thanks to the card support they get that no other deck type gets...adding more draw support to that, would just solidify the quickness of those cheap decks, but it my also give you what you need to stop or slow those cheap decks

DRE: So? People can already run SPs alongside evolved Pokemon, as a secondary attacker. Also, what would they "tech in" that makes them that more dangerous? Machamp? Gengar? Claydol? Also, it wouldn't be just that easy, seeing as now their lists would have to contain Bebe's (Isn't common in SP decks) or even BTS and Rare Candy....sounds like that, on top of the tech, will take at least an additional 5 spaces....maybe even 10. Last I checked, SP decks don't easily have the means to get 5 to 10 free spaces. Oh, and adding DRE would only add more spaces in the deck. Sorry, but I don't see SP dominating with DRE and using evolved techs. Plus, SP decks would still have to face the comeback of GG and other decks...and even though SP decks will be faster, GG and those other decks will love to use DRE themselves.

Cess Crystal: Glad to see we agree here.....this is BY FAR the worst change now. With no decent draw engine (Trainer or Supporter) we need Powers too much right now. (This is why I said a Supporter draw engine would help repair this....with a draw engine in tact, we won't NEED Claydol and Uxie to stay in the game. Dialga G will be BDIF if this happens.

Windstorm: Who really wants to waste a NM/TSD/Pokemon Rescue to get UNOWN G, who can then be blown right back to the grave? Unlike the other two situations, SP decks will be unplayable. Gechamp will dominate, because without Unown G, your draw-power and Basics get steamrolled by these two. And as said above, without a Supporter (or trainer, though I'll get to that in a minute.) draw line-up, you need draw-power Pokes...and Gengar eats them up. Not can these two slow down you tremendously, they can also use their BTS to get a swarm of Gengars/Machamps and then Windstorm it away. =/ Gechamp will dominate, and SPs won't be able to compete...no one really wants to waste a card to get a card back that will just be discarded again...

Supporter draw engine: The reason I don't say Trainer is because....really, is that even close to realistic? We haven't had Trainer draw since what...Neo? Base? Plus, this would make SP and donk decks even more dominate. With Supporter draw, we wouldn't need to rely on Claydol/Uxie so much, and budget decks would be back. IMO, a engine like the Holon Engine would be great for this format. We need more draw outside of Claydol/Uxie and only a few draw supporters that work in every deck.
