Mewbox-ish for States March 17

RE: Mew Prime - Taking this deck to states! Need help!

^ 3-3 yanmega isn't really needed since you want to start seeing off your pokemon right away, but IMO I don't think that it is too necessary. If it is going to be played, then maybe 2-2, but I think 3-3 takes up too much room.

RE: Mew Prime - Taking this deck to states! Need help!

I'm not a fan of yanmega...I was thinking about chandelure for sure, I just don't know what matchup he helps in...eels?

Also, my build is not built for a consistent attacking Yanmega...I'd need to run Copycats for that to work. I am absolutely not taking out any Pluffs, I need both.

RE: Mew Prime - Taking this deck to states! Need help!

The Foul Play attack on Zoroark is quite effective against most larger pokemon, especially Mewtwo EX(X-Ball), when coming from a Mew....

RE: Mew Prime - Taking this deck to states! Need help!

Yeah but then I'd have to run DCE since Mew gets OHKO's by...well, everything. :p I could remove a 1-1 Weavile and something else for 2 DCE and a Zoroark, but then I don't think it would be consistent enough.

Also, they only need one grass energy to KO me if I have one too, so an x-ball against them will not kill them for a while.

Updated my list...what else can be improved? I don't think I need Pokemon Communication. It works really well, but sometimes I don't draw any draw supporters and it really hurts...

IMO, Absol prime is a good starter for Mew decks. It's body helps weaken high HP basics a bit, the attack can LZ your Pokemon and resist Mewtwo for the occasional CMT match-up.

The one retreat is annoying, but many are likely to be running Skyarrow.

N is a card to consider since it's likely you may fall behind early game.

Also, I agree that you should throw in some basic psychic energy since Lost Remover is starting to gain popularity, not just in Durant.

^ absol prime wouls slow down the deck instead of speeding it up. Turn 3 Mew Prime attacking? No that shouldn't heppen. Turn 2 is when your Mew attacks, nd you always lost zone with mew b/c it searches out what to lost zone and then you can attack the turn after that.

Absol Prime would not work in this deck unless I was running the lucario build imo. Even then, relicanth is a much better starter. I don't really think lost remover is a huge problem against decks that aren't durant...I'll just attach to my active mew. I lose the energy after he dies anyway.
