Mewperior (Mew Prime/Rhyperior X)

RE: Mewperior again NEEDS BLAZIKEN (Mew Prime/Rhyperior X)

Eh, I mispoke about the donkin' Apologies.

Was late, but whatever. I was probably thinking of something else. And I totally forgot about Rhyperior Level X being out with the rotation xD.
Also, my list didn't have fire Energy? Whoops.
But a list is a list, I quickly made it up. Not saying the list is 100% perfect, just went with that off the top of my head, didn't give it too much thought. Now that I actually re-looked at it, could easily modify a buncha things to give you 4 Palmers, Collectors and what not, whilst keep consistency. You come off as rude, so I just fire it right back. Golden rule man'g.

Lostgar hasn't been played enough recently for MewPerior to have 100% confirmed favourable matchups. I've faced 2 at league. Interesting matches, but if they're played right, they can be quite broken. SP wreck low-HP decks. So depends how fast you set up compared to them.
Honestly, Mewperior probably is a tier 3-2 deck (Leaning towards 2 moreso than 3) but definitely not tier 1. It's in the same boat as Gyarados IMO. Great decks on paper, but in play, just not as good as we hoped they'd be because of SP. Like my provincials deck. Looks GREAT on paper, but just won't stand up to SP decks. Sure it'll be able to OHKO everything, but my HP is just too low.

After reading another thread, I got an idea. Luxray GL X. Brightlook, retreat, Mew. Shazam.

RE: Mewperior again NEEDS BLAZIKEN (Mew Prime/Rhyperior X)

IDK why I said tier 1. I meant to say tier 2-1.5. Yea, definatly not tier 1.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I don't think your changes aren't what you're hyping them up to be. If you don't think Call and Rescue are major parts of the deck, yet you haven't tried them, or even played mewperior in that matter, you can't say it's a great suggestion. (BTW you can't tell what's best for a deck by playing against it, unless you play against it a lot.)

Lux, like Blaziken, needs a whole other engine. it'd be nice if you could fit in the engine tho.

RE: Mewperior again NEEDS BLAZIKEN (Mew Prime/Rhyperior X)

^Yeah, no Luxray. That's more for decks that aren't made to OHKO basically everything.
As for tiers, I'd say MewPerior's about tier 2. 3 is definitely low, but 1.5' might be a bit of a stretch, due to the sometimes-awful setup and horrible matchup against Umbreon UD (I see Eevee on my opponent's bench... then I cringe). DGX isn't a huge problem because of Blaziken, but even so, it can be annoying.

RE: Mewperior again NEEDS BLAZIKEN (Mew Prime/Rhyperior X)

@deepcr0w,Totally 93, deoxyschomp99, GoldenDP, sillykyle!: Delcatty can be very helpful in Mewperior, but is not necessary. Using Delcatty in Mewperior makes the deck work differently because it requires more set up. Sometimes the set up is worth it, but the problem I see with Delcatty is that can easily sniped or locked by Mesprit's "Psychic Bind" and Power Spray. As long as you have a high energy count, you should be hitting for at least 150 per turn.

I have been playing Mewperior for quite a while, although I know my list is not perfect, I think it's pretty good. Out of the 3 City Championships I've been to, the worst I have gone was 3-2 (Losses being to another Mewperior and a Luxchomp) I'm still testing with my list and I'm trying to fit in an even heavier Blaziken line in, Snowpoint Temple and more Judge.

Current List:

Pokemon (13):

-4 Mew Prime
-4 Smeargle UD
-2 Rhyperior Lv.X
-1 Unown Q
-1 Blaziken FB
-1 Blaziken FB Lv.X

Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums (11):

-4 Pokemon Collector
-4 Pokemon Rescue
-2 Judge
-1 Team Galactic's Invention SP Radar

Energy (36):

-12 Psychic Energy
-4 Rescue Energy
-4 Warp Energy
-4 Cyclone Energy
-4 Call Energy
-4 Fire Energy
-4 Rainbow Energy

RE: Mewperior again NEEDS BLAZIKEN (Mew Prime/Rhyperior X)

Cypher: THANK YOU. A very experienced Mewperior player shows a really good list. (Aside from no Palmer's--typo, correct? IMO its pretty needed). He actually PLAYS mewperior, therefore his suggestions come from testing and experience, and not theorymons. Once again, thanks for the list, I'll try it out.

RE: Mewperior again NEEDS BLAZIKEN (Mew Prime/Rhyperior X)

I am a very experience Mewperior player. I have been playing it for quite some time now. I have gone through at least 15 different lists, and this is what I have ended at. It may look strange, but it really really does work.

4 Mew
2 Rhyperior X
2-2 Staraptor FB X
2-1 Blaziken FB X
1-1 Mewtwo X
1 Azelf

4 Collector
4 Palmers
3 Pokemon Rescue
3 Bebe's
3 Judge

5 Fire
4 Rescue
4 Call
14 Psychic

Basically use mew and rhyperior for their obvious uses, staraptor FB to pull supporters from the deck to thin the deck to make the end game pure energy that you are discarding, palmers to put energy back into the deck, blaziken FB to obviously kill DGX, and plan out your active and benched pokemon against SP to have Mewtwo as your 6th pokemon standing to pretty much take the win (Aside from drifblim). I think I am going to fit in 3 warp energy in there somewhere definitelly though because Mewtwo does have a hefty retreat cost.

RE: Mewperior again NEEDS BLAZIKEN (Mew Prime/Rhyperior X)

hrm...I'm not sure which decklist off of which to base changes, but...

Maybe you could replace some Palmer's with Energy Returners. Not all of them, as of course you are discarding Pokemon, but you are using Palmer's primarily (Most of the time) to fill your deck back up with energies. This might let you do more in one turn, although you should still have Palmer's.

P. S. If Energy Returner is one of the cards that put Energy in your hand, I'm sorry (They are all just so alike!), and I mean the one that shuffles 4 Energies into your deck as a Trainer card.

RE: Mewperior again NEEDS BLAZIKEN (Mew Prime/Rhyperior X)

Tildarus: Thanks. Looks like a pretty teched out mewperior :p I'll try that out as well, thanks.

Pokemunkuyls: Thanks, idk about it. I never felt the need to use a palmers more than once, but I'll try it still.

Cypher's list has gone very far for me. I didn't exactly copy it, but I use a different trainer line and pokemon line. I'll update the first post with it.

so I am using Mismagius from SF with my Mewperior, reason being is that it hits for 40 and you can make them pick up the Dialga G on the bench. I noticed a lot of people put that dialga G on the bench after lvling up. Now, how does Blaziken work for everyone else? I tried that and I always pulled up the Dialga G from then bench only to have them retreat it on their turn and then knock out my Blaziken. So my recommendation is Mismagius or something that allows you to get rid of that Dialga G right away.
