Also whatever you do do not bring your Emerald unless you don't care about cloning. Isn't it a little bit strange that you have to trade to get mew? Well I have a friend that works for nintendo and he told me that if you trade to get the mew and recieve it on your Emerald nintendo put a code on mew so that it fixes the cloning glitch on pokemon Emerald version. So unless you want to never be able to clone on Emerald again do not use your Emerald version to trade for the mew.

But then what happens if you trade it to emerald, so you can clone it? I am so going to TRU to get mew, i will probably use my emerald... wait a sec... i dont know where my emerald is... crud. hmmm, this is a predicament.

I normally dislike going on rants on boards but just this once I'm going to make an exception.

I hate hearing people complain about stuff when it comes to ANY game. Especially the Pokemon games. I have been screwed over enough by Nintendo that they can darn well give up some game crack for MY enjoyment this time. I had to buy a Game Genie (yes, folks, ORIGINAL GameBoy territory here) just to get Mew on my BLUE version of the game. Why? Because Nintendo thought it was cute to give the game the slogan "Gotta catch 'em all" and yet make one of the cutest and rarest ones a MAGAZINE giveaway ONLY. And you didn't have a chance at it because EVERY kid in America was sending in at least 5 or 10 entries each.

Then, we come to the tours across America. I don't care what Nintendo calls it. They are a way to rub it in the face of all the gamers who have come along for the ride and made something what it is that they don't live in MAJOR cities. That and little kids who can't have Mommy and Daddy simply hop on a plane and fly from the east coast to the west coast just so little Muffy or Biff can get a critter on their little video game.

I'm sick and tired of Nintendo and other gaming companies thinking it's cute to say F you to the gamers who pay their bills. They have screwed up game after game in the Pokemon saga by putting moves at levels where the pokemon does not even exist; made pokemon forget moves that you would want long before you find them; totally changed types on the pokemon at evolution, and many other things. I plan to finally post my long dreamed of webpage just for the mention of such wtf moments after D/P comes out. And I have already found a potential item to add to the list in what has been revealed about the new monsters at this time.

Japan gets the games first. Then the companies spread out their earnings by releasing games to other places when THEY take a notion and decide they will dignify games exist. Until Nintendo people even acknowledge the fact games exist and do not get annoyed when someone knows about them from online and they release EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE at the same time, then too bad. Deal with life as you get it. Mew will eventually make it all over the world in some shape form or fashion. Much like anything else.

i was really annoyed about this. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Mew and I would've loved getting it. But it really annoys me because a Nintendo event happened on the weekend and I went to it both days. All the e-mails, SMS and the site and flyers said that Australia would get Mew, and they tell us on the day that US got it instead. Then they said we can get it sometime next year! I ain't waitin that long for something that's been promised for us for months.

Also, I agree with a little of what Lady Wolf said above. The rarest and one of the best pokemon made didn't even make Australia for R/B/Y or Gold Silver Crystal. We got Celebi, which was only inroduced in Queensland and Melbourne...Sydney never got it.
