Card of the Day: Mewtwo EX
Cooltrainer Alan said:Easily one of the best cards in the format. Mewtwo can fit into almost any deck that uses DCE or even if they don't, you can still set up with regular energies. The best part is that it also does damage times the energy on the defending Pokemon, not just on Mewtwo. It's attack quickly charges up because your opponent will be adding energies as well. His 2nd attack isn't as good and usually will be weaker than X-Ball anyways.

It's got an unlimited damage output, amazing speed, and can completely burn through fields if your opponent doesn't have a counter to it. The only reason it isn't broken is it gets countered by itself, meaning literally ever deck that doesn't have another fast response to it (which is pretty much nothing except Rayeels) needs to run it.
10/10, Cards don't get much better than this.

Actually the most you can do is 15,520 damage when its like this:
Deck 1:
1 Mewtwo
1-1-1 gardy
56 energy
deck 2:
1 Mewtwo
1-1-1 Gardy
1-1-1 Vileplume
53 energy
assuming all prizes are energy. Not at all unlimited
Anyways, I liek the card, but what its done to the format is just wrong. I watched a T2 at cities the other day (emmet vs. iis) and all 3 games were Mewtwo wars. iis used Darkrai ONCE out of the 3 games, Mewtwo just dominated all the games. But I can't say I didn't play it, as it is such a powerful card and is truly one of the best EXs.
So damn splashable

What are you talking about? Sableye needs dark to operate and I said the most damage done.Dark Void said:RogueChomp said:Actually the most you can do is 15,520 damage when its like this:

You're wrong with the lists. If the list with Vileplume has 1 sableye, 1 revive, and 1 rare candy in it instead of 3 of the energy then the other deck is able to take 5 prizes off it, and 5 energy>3. Also, if you're doing it in unlimited, you can add Poke Flute to the list with Sableye so that both sides can take the 5 prizes.

Exactly. If you replace one of the psychic energies with dark, add sableye + revive, and use 1 candy over stage 2s, the other side can take 5 of its prized energy, allowing it to deal more damage.
