Ruling Mewtwo EX X Ball Attack

If i play X ball with a double colourless attached to Mewtwo EX and there's no more energies on him or the opposing pokemon, would i do 40 damage or 20?

You would do 40 damage since double colorless counts as 2 energies

For future reference, if an attack states "energies", DCE counts as two. If it says "Energy cards" DCE is only one.
