Yes, but Mewtwo's biggest threat is Dusknoir. It can't stand spread at all, and Dusknoir's type is Mewtwo's weakness, where you can just use Dusknoir SF/Promo's attack to deal with an OHKO. Also, we may be seeing more Leafeon, Torterra, Empoleon, Rampardos, and other evolved Pokemon decks. So, Mewtwo should be used if your areas meta is basic Pokemon.
May I note that basic decks WILL use Dialga G LVX to shut down Mewtwo?
My friend has been sporting a 1-1 Mewtwo LV.X in all of his decks since the rise of Regigigas, and it's hard to recover from not only Psybarrier, but also the 120 damage that Giga Burn will eventually do to knock out your Active Pokemon.
I've already experienced Mewtwo, but I think the new meta will create ways around it and make it less and less of a threat.
