Midwest Regionals

Hey tyraniking the meta is thick with gengar so I suggest something different than that.(Vilegar) and your.pm.box is full lol

I'm not playing Machamp, but no offense, but the last time someone told me not to play something, they said 50% of the people at states were playing _______ and it turns out only one person was playing that. The meta in WI might be filled with Gengar, but the other states competeing might be playing SP. I can't trust one person :/

Ok whatever I said it was full of vilega,so I was saying play something solid such as dchomp or luxchomp even sablelock, the two biggest decks at states were vilegar and machamp

@ironman idk if you were in seniors but i was in masters and topped there were almost no vilegar or machamp. i played against one of each of them in swiss. Maybe there were a bunch in the bottom bracket, but then if there was it doesn't matter because that means they were losing anyway.

You haven't been around in forever it seems like Lukas, or at least not posting in the Organized play areas. Do you know if Andy is playing or juding? I'd guess playing, but thought I'd check with you.

Hes talking about seniors because I'm in Seniors.

For practice, we will be having warm-up pods starting at 6:30 PM Friday. I should be there in my labcoat if anything comes up. It also gives some of you a chance to meet me when I am not juding the main tournament.

We're planning to play in the Friday games. But now the weather is saying snow possible on Friday! I hope we can still make it.

How many Juniors typically enter the Regionals? My son is interested in the numbers, and how many in the top cuts.

Thanks.

I want to say it was around 50-60 in the Juniors last year. If we hit 64, it will be top 16.

I'll be there a tad late. I have climbing until 3:30 I believe, and it takes about 4 Hours to get there, so I should be at the hotel at around 8:30. Will people still be there?

@Cosmi Bob my bro is in juniors and last year it was a top cut of eight and he says there was about 40 something.

It felt like there was more juniors than that last year when I was judging. I don't know which division I'll be judging yet. I'm hoping to get Juniors. I'd rather not do Masters.

@Tyranking: People will likely still be there. There is open playtesting also iirc.

^Ooo ooo maybe you can judge us seniors :p

Great, thanks. TO THOSE HOPEING YOU'LL BE SEEING MY ACTUAL TOURNEY DECK TO TEST AGAINST TOO BAD! I might be playing a fake deck :p

Yet another question. This time about the pods on Friday and Saturday night. Do we need a decklist for the pods? And can I use the same decklist for the Regional on Saturday? Thanks.

Rain all day tomorrow will make for a long, hideous drive. :(

/me wishes you could've brought FD09.
I just got to my hotel room now. There was a ton of stuff to unpack plus the wind didn't help any either.
