My son has a Milotic (5/101) from the ex Dragon Frontiers and according to the list this should be a holofoil, but it is not shiny at all. Is this normal or did he get a fake one? I don't know much about these cards, but I would hate to see that he's being set up. Please help me.

The star on the colorless symbol is too big, it's definitely a fake. Sorry.
how did you get the fake anyway? so others can watch out for the same thing.... people helping people you know 
I got the same thing once, the card is also probly more flexible than normal cards too right.
To prevent this, you should never get the cards in the vending machines at stores.
Only get them in collectible card stores or a place that wouldn't try scamming you like Toys r Us, KB toys etc.
