Minor Card Damage out of Pack

So I was wondering, how exactly would one obtain "Gem mint" cards, when out of all the Ultra Rares I've pulled, not one has had a back that was flawless? There's always a tiny bit bit of white around the edges, but I don't mind, it's just that I'm wondering, how would one obtain a perfect card? Luck?

Mostly. There's no way to tell if a card has any dent or scratch, or any damage whatsoever; and there's also no way to assure that any card comes in perfect-mint conditions in that case, especially with Ultra Rares that come on Tins, Boxes, etc. If you get a perfectly neat minty one, then you are very lucky. If you find a horrendous miscut, a couple of dents or scratches on one of them, your luck goes to the other side...

I am in the same boat. I always pull Ultra Rares with scratches or minor edge wear.
