Misdreavus, Mismagius from ‘Dark Phantasma’

Misdreavus and Mismagius have been revealed from the Japanese set Dark Phantasma, which will release in Japan on May 13th. We expect these cards to become part of our August set, Lost Origin!

Misdreavus/Mismagius - it's just way too counterable. Good news, Inteleon and Zigzagoon will be no longer good since, Drizzile and Zigzagoon alone rotates. Bad news, they can find ways to counter it. 3/3
 
Would work well with saybleye if it wasn’t rotating, could work with lunala with nismsgius’ attack, could work in a gimic but I don’t expect this card to see heaps of play
 
Kinda interesting they chose to print another Misdreavus/Mismagius as there was another pair just in Battle Region.

Really makes you wonder how they decide which Pokemon to pick. Although they are Gen 4 related Pokemon, there was still random choices like Komala and Pyroar in previous "PLA" sets.

Clearly each Pokemon getting a card is not a priority though.

Wdym? It doesn't have the factor that is prone to banning. The ability is easily counterrable by some spread dmg or Inteleon (If Inteleon remained good after Drizzile rotates), or if Samurott was a good deck rn, the VSTAR Power will just cancel it in a game. To remove the abusing power of the ability, Scoop Up Net is rotating, too. So you cant abuse this.

yea i was referring to the banned unbroken bonds mismagius

hol up shady dealings will rotate? what will be put in place?
 
mismagius - really like the ability as you are a fragile mon you will most likely be ohkoed. and it sort of synergise with the attack. the attack is collored but only one and you get flying flip and it goes through manaphy. it´s decent. the card kinda lacks its own identity. like salamance vmax. it has good traits but lacks a reason to be played. and that is where a lot of well designed 1 prize pokemons come in. even machamp will probably fall into the same umbrella. to be fair, this could actually be a decent early game attack to finnish of with yoga loop and celebrations lunala. lunala is really struggeling with manaphy preventing all damage. another good thing with this is that you get to do enough damage on support stuff like 120 hp octillery or 170 hp lumineon. but the ability gives you a push against the attacker, as they have 270 hp+ they need to reach 140-170 for the ohko with lunala. grade: 3/5 lacks identity. But might be a viable tool for lunala as both traits are good. psychic type is good for fog crystal as quick ball is rotating.

misdreavous - great, but not. 60 hp is relativly mediocre but fighting resictence is good. 1 energy for 50/50 confusion is better than most pre evos but still meh grade: 3/5 has stalling tactic

True, Shady Dealings Inteleon will rotate, what I am mostly referring is the Quick Shooting Inteleon. That Inteleon is mostly teched in some decks that runs the Inteleon Engine, including Drizzile that has the same ability as SSH Inteleon, but only 1 Trainer card. Without them, QS Inteleon would be difficult to pull off in the early game, even Rare Candy won't save it.
