Isn't there a trainer card from one of the gym series in japanese of misty hugging a starmie topless or close to and they changed the picture in the american reprinting?
is it mistys tears
mistys wish?

If anyone knows the name let me know cause I would like to get a hold of that card.
 
It was Misty's tears. In Japanese, it had a shadowy picture of Misty (which many people insisted was topless) touching holding Staryu by its gem. The English version has a headshot of Misty crying with a Squirtle.
 
ItalianBlock plzz do not say jap on the front agian  it is not a  good term for japanesse people. But anyways it is misty tears it is good art on  it.
 
I actually have the English and the Japanese versions. Misty does look naked.

I opoigize I didn't mean to be offensive I just don't feel like mis-spelling japanese
 
I never heard of that happening before but they do evplisit some of their stuf in japan. One example during the yugioh episode where yugi battles that guy where whoever looses gets their soul taken away while over there instead of that I have heard that they cut off the person legs. It was the guy with the clown hat and his wife soul got taken. It was during the battle city episodes. It was just an example.:)
 
They show porn all the time in Japan. Its normal, actually most places outside America, nudity isnt a big deal. (This may not be true) but I've heard of naked girls on billboards in London. Anyway, you can see Nudity in Pokemon in Japan alot...So, it wouldnt shock me if she is topless.
 
But still, people with dirty minds just find it bad! I don't mind the picture as long as the person looking at it has a good mind.
 
Sabrina's Gaze i believe, the Japanese card kinda shows her giving the finger, thats why the US card has her throwing a pokeball
 
the Gym set has a lot of controversial card, I wonder what the creators were thinking
The worst one IMO is this one, Koga's ninja trick, with the swastika on it, as you might know or not, that symbol was used by the nazis in WWII, seeing this on Japanese card seems way too controversial, luckily, the card was altered after it's 1st print:

Hitler was not the first to use a Swastika. He adapted his insignia from some sort of Aryan symbol, whish was not originally used for hellish reasons. There is also, I beleive (not sure), some sort of Bhuddist symbol that looks like a Swastika. Maybe thats why it was used on the card, most people in Japan being Bhuddist.
