Well, I have a way to make this easier. Dec thought. She put her plan into action.
She flew back down to the top of the building and took a chunk of rubble. Using the dragon scale she still had, she carved the rubble into a near-perfect image of a gemstone. If it were the correct color, it'd be almost impossible to tell the difference. I love sculpting! Dec thought with glee. Trying to figure out a way to color the giant gemstone, she wandered around the top of the building. Nothing colorful was in sight. Hoping that the gray representation would do, she flew over next to the dragon. On the way there, she whispered to White, "Here's a distraction. Now's your chance."
Flying level to the dragon, she caught it's eye. "Hey, Mister Dragon! Lookie here!" Reaching her hooves behind her back, she pulled out the gray gemstone. "Look at my nice gemstone! It's all for you!" She really emphasized the word "all". Then, almost impossible to distinguish from her normal movement, she nodded at White.
