IC: Dec watched as Booker turned away from Love. As her loving eyes, filled to the brim with tears of compassion, followed his loving eyes, Dec really understood the father-filly relation that she'd never had the chance to develop. Her eyes filled with tears at the thought, but she choked them back. She had to be strong for Love's sake.
However, her sadness evaporated into a completely different emotion as Booker, in a completely unexpected move of rage, charged at her. In the time it took him, Dec's world slowed down for a few seconds.
In her time-slowing state, she could clearly observe her surroundings. Booker, charging head-on at Dec, looked out of control. His mouth, hardly even a mouth anymore, had been contorted into a frown of pure rage, something that Dec had never seen before. His eyes had the most unsettling gaze, a burning frenzy of intensity and anger that really showed how crazy he had become. That look had a sort of gleam to it, one that was almost covered by what he had become. It was a gleam of hope, of life. Maybe there was hope for him.
However, Dec's second of realization was brutally ended when Booker rammed into her. He had not slowed down even the tiniest bit, and hit her with his full body force, which, being an adult pony, was quite a lot. The blow sent Dec flying backwards, the wind whistling through her mane. It was almost quite trance-like. It was abruptly ended when, in a forest situation like this one, she rammed into a tree. The wood made a deep hollow
clunk sound that reverberated around the clearing. The resulting shake sent a volley of leaves spinning and spiraling spastically through the air, until they landed upon the ground without a sound. Dec slid down to the ground, and her vision grew fuzzy around the edges. She couldn't see very well, and, feeling lightheaded, tried to stand up. She was shaky, but on her hooves nonetheless.
"Hey, wha– why'd you do that, Booker?" she said, sounding as if she'd had too much Apple Cider. Her legs gave way at that point, sending her crashing to the ground. From there, she watched eagerly, although without much comprehension, the clearing.
OoC: Pssh, now give me a good situation to write about! XD
EDIT: NOOOO Why did you have to ninja me that was written so perfectly!
