A single, heavily armored Pegasus bolted out from the dense forest. It tackled Love with the force of a boulder, sending her careening into the ground. Even the two unicorn were shocked, standing frozen with a look of fear.

"Last chance." Spoke the Pegasus, the slight echo from the helmet adding to his deep voice. A hoof raised above Love's head. "I would rather not get brain matter on this, I just cleaned it." The voice spoke with little emotion, the face of the elite soldier hidden in a helmet.

"Enough joking Titan...you even scarring us..." A unicorn chuckled nervously.

"You should be..." Titan pushed Love out of the zone, and waited. "Now, please. You are free to go into the swamp. But if you cross this point, I will kill you."

"Love, don't risk it!" White hollered, "What's in the cage is not risking your life for!"

Love very overwhelmed said "I'm not quiting. I don't care at all! I can do this!" She then flew off again to the restricted area. "I'm not a quitter."

The unicorn grabbed a hold of Love, wrapping her in a levitation field.

"FOR CRYING OUT LOUD! I do not want to be the one to report your death! Please, take your insane friend and leave! He is not joking, Titan will kill you!" The unicorn dragged her back, Titan simply standing silently.

"I said I don't quit. Because Rarity or Twighlight Sparkle might be in cage. And I'm going to find out. No matter what." said Love. She was just walking this time.

"Love!" White hollered, "Please, listen to me. I know you want to see what's in the cage, but it's not risking for life for!"

Suddenly, there was a flash, and Love was no longer levitating. Another flash, and the unicorn holding Love was hit in the head by a blur, then the blur disappeared. A third flash and Smartie Pie and Rocky were in front of Love, protecting her. "Don't mess with her or be forced to mess with us. Please leave now," Smartie Pie said, coldly.

"See? Thats the Magic of Friendship! Thats what you don't have!" said Love.

"What are you talking about? You have to leave! We've warned her about five times already! I stopped her from rushing in yet again!" The unicorn face hoofed. "Look, just leave please. I'm asking. Please. Just. Leave. We won't report this, and Titan-"

"If they leave, I will return to my post. But if they cross once more, they die."

"Right...well, it's been fun, but we have to return to the Outpost." The two unicorns vanished with a flash, teleporting away. The elite Pegasus watched the group silently. titan was nearly double the size of regular pegasi, the armor adding more to his size. It was not like the old Royal Guard armor at all. It was black, with red lines running at the sides. This new armor was more bulky, with gems placed on the chest and helmet, all shimmering. The wings were even encased, the plating shifting as the wings curled or uncurled.

"You don't scare me. I have ponies to back me up. They're my friends. And friendship is magic. We work together through hard times. We stick up for each other. We make sure everypony is safe. Every one of us has a talent. If your a unicorn or a pegisas or an earth pony. It doesn't matter. We work as a team. And you don't." said Love.

"You're not only talking to a veteran Royal Guard, you're talking to an elite soldier in the Equestrian Armed Forces, newly formed by Commander Windstorm, who united Equestria when it was in disorder. The EAF is united and strong, we're not just a team. We're a fighting force to be reckoned with."

"Please. Just stop talking." Love said walking past him.

"All right then." Titan sighed, and trotted over Love. "You couldn't just leave. You realize the cage is already past being able to follow? Whatever..." Titan raised a single hoof up, and stomped the ground, his armored wings expanding. In one swift movement, Titan shot upward, and crashed down onto Love.

"I'm not a quieter." The area started to become blurry and soon enough it became pitch black. Love had passed out.

Dec sat there, stunned, as Shade told her what he told her. Then, as he kissed her cheek for the two seconds that were the longest of her life, her regular self melted away, replaced by some other version of Dec, with not a coherent thought inside her. Her mind was a mix of indistinguishable swirls of emotions. After a short forever, Shade just stood up and walked away. Then, before he could get anywhere, White burst in. Shade immediately snapped back to reality, but in Dec's bleak life, she had just experienced something that lit up the dark landscape of her life. It wasn't going to be easy to return to reality.

Dec, still in a daze, followed Shade and White, and was still zonked as Love stood up against Titan. Then, as Titan attacked Love, causing her to pass out, only then did Dec snap out of it. Love is in trouble! With blinding speed and newfound energy, Dec flew straight at Titan.

OoC: The battle has begun. =P

EDIT: However, Dec is frozen in time flying at Titan, so if this isn't the way the Game Mods Group wants to go, there is still time to stop Dec. Figured I'd at least give you ponies the choice.

Titan didn't even flinch as Dec crashed into his armor. The thick armor was enough to inflict severe pain, causing Dec to begin to lose conscious. Titan turned as he heard the thud.

"Hm. Seems they did excellent work on my armor. Good to know."
