IC: Dec watched as White chased Pinkie around the fire. The fire was the main source of light, and with it's constant flickering, it sent shadows dancing on all the ponies. Everypony seemed so peaceful, even though they were in the middle of the Everfree forest, at night. You know, Dec thought, Our little group has come so far, and we now mean so much to each other. It really makes you want to stop and think.
Applejack seemed to be having a great time, as a group of friends around a fire, playing games was really her kind of thing. Pinkie, as anypony could tell, was having an all out blast, a pink blur around the fire. Rainbow Dash was sitting off to the side, her eyes were closed, as if she was sleeping. Even so, a slight smile rested on her peaceful face. The firelight lit up her rainbow mane, making it shine in all the perfect ways. Rarity had a brush out, and was repeatedly stroking her tail, until it glittered like the stars themselves. Fluttershy sat off to the side, surrounded by a group of forest animals, bunnies and birds snuggling in her mane. Content, she whispered to the animals. Even Twilight appeared to be enjoying herself, even with the lack of books to tell her how to have fun around a fire.
White had an interesting look on his face. As he chased Pinkie around the fire, he seemed content for once, and after all the worrying, it was probably a good thing. Shade had walked off. I wonder where he went… Dec thought to herself. She also noticed Love, sitting off to one edge. "I wonder what has her all tied up…" Dec said to herself, unable to think anymore. Standing up, she trotted over.
When she reached Love, the fire was too far away to cast an impact on them. The full light of the stars shone down, illuminating the treetops, and lighting up Love's face. "You know," Dec began, "Something has you bothered. I can tell." Dec sighed, the kind of sigh that's halfway between a sigh and a chuckle, and continued. "We started out, what was it, a few months ago?, not knowing each other at all. And look at us now. We've been through it all, braving Griffons, Dragons, falling Buildings, Buffalos, crazy shadows, and who knows what else. We've lost so many ponies along the way, Crash…" a tear started to roll down Dec's cheek. "She will be remembered. But you know what? I'm so happy that I could choose to finish the journey with you three, Shade, White, and you. We make an impeccable team. A team of friends, bound together until the ends of imagination. And that makes me believe that Friendship really is magic. I realize that I've been ranting on, but we've been through so many changes, so much drama, adventure, and more, that…" Tears started to flow freely from Dec's eyes; they hit the ground with a splash, staining the forest floor underneath. "You know, I never had any friends before this. After my rejection in Cloudsdale, I really thought my life was over. There was nothing left. But, you, all of you, Love…" Dec paused. "I don't even know how to finish that. But I want to say, thank you. I don't know why I told you all that, but hey, that's where my mind took me, I guess."

Shade thought about all the horrid scenes that could happen to him and his friends. What if...What if The shadows try and kill us Emotionly?! W-what if Love got herself killed by some terrible beast? What IF DEC....! Shade couldn't stand it anymore. OK...ok...Just calm your self Shade...Everything will go fine!
Though he wasn't sure that EVERYTHING will go fine. " *Shudder* I hope the outcome is NOT geting us all killed..." He tried to go back to sleep. But the thoughts still haunted him.

IC: Dec's eyes fluttered open. The rising sun sent glowing rays of warmth shining down into the clearing. Dec stood up and yawned. Then, she looked around.
The elements of harmony were already awake. Pinkie Pie was still running around the fire, as if five minutes hadn't passed. Did she really run around all night? Dec wondered in astonishment. Twilight seemed groggy, and her hair was all messed up. Rarity was already perky, and brushing her tail, as usual. The light made it shine in a spectacular way. Fluttershy was still sleeping, with no less than ten animals curled up next to her, in her mane, tail, or somewhere else that was invisible to Dec at that moment. Applejack seemed genuinely tired still, but she masked it well. Rainbow Dash was still curled up, sleeping soundly. Love was still asleep, and Shade was…
"Nowhere in sight!?" Dec exclaimed, unable to hide her alarm. "We have to be going soon, I should go find him," Dec muttered to herself. She trotted off, searching the general area of the clearing for him.

IC: Love opened her eyes and yawned. 'Oh, I couldn't get much sleep last night. But it's a new day so soon we can get a move on. I hope.' She got up walked over to Dec. "Dec, what you said yesterday touched my heart. Meeting you was awesome, and you're a spectacular pony. Thank you for all your the help!"

IC:Shade was sleeping till he heard the group disscussing what to do next from far away. Plus the Cockatrices' woke him up on time somehow. Like they knew about the threat that we're going to hopefully stop. "Augh... Better get up..." Shade got up from the tree. But he was so tired he sliped of the highest branch. "AHH!" *slap* *CRunch* *Thud!* Shade slamed into a few dozen branches, then landed head first into the ground. "Guh..." Shade got his head out of the ground. "I don't feel much pain... That's good." He began walking twords the makeshift campsite.
