Just asking, can mods/staff members join clans? Because, I have never seen a mod in any clan, I assumed that WPM restricted them, due to possible insults hurlted at them for being (possibly) bais.

i don't see why not.mods are just,people on these forums,like everyone else,they just make sure things are all,in order.i would think they'd be aloud

Any mod caught in ANY CLAN will be de-modded and TAR AND FEATHERED. As a mod of PokeBeach's forums, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE HUMAN and CANNOT have ANY fun!
Honestly, I think it's because most of us don't have the time, and the grammar and spelling of most members here is in the 4th grade range, at least in my opinion, and I want more intelligent fun. If people hear would bring more intelligent discussion into their posts and their threads, I would try to participate more. Just my opinion.

Oh well. You can't blame them, most clans are made from 50% spam, 40% "i wana join" posts and 10% randomness, but there are a few good ones out there.

I didn't say all were spam, but you have to agree that most of them are. There's no telling just how many "10-posts-or-less" clans are lurking in the deep pits of the dead thread underworld, biding their time, waiting for a spammer to revive them...

There are no female moderators. I'd go so far to say that there's less than ten female members.
No clan sounds interesting to me. That's why I haven't joined any. There was that "beach elite" or whatever for D/P, but that kinda died.

)WPM has basically summed it up quite nicely. I don't want to make us sound any better than any other member on the forum but the mods are older than the majority here and like to undertake in more intelligent discussion which is not offered in any of the clans.
I personally don't want to join any clans since I don't really see the point in them being any benefit to me and they're usually filled with n00by members who lack decent spelling and grammar.

That post was made at 1 in the morning with a serious headache. I'm surprised that's the only thing I got wrong.

Gawd, I'll get lynched by all the other clans if I actually say which ones I like. Best to keep it zipped :]
I would of liked to have kept the beach elite going, but ever so slowly it was mutating into one giant ball of spam. There wasn't much point in keeping it open really, not much discussion or anything was taking place and it wasn't different from any of the other clans apart from its size. You could say it was the very first clan, but considering most are spam it's nothing to be proud of.
Perhaps you should open an intelligent discussion thread, ho hum.
Anyway, as to why mods don't do clans, it's probably an image thing. I have to admit, if I were a mod on here (LOL) I probably wouldn't join- it just wouldn't look right would it?
I guess so. I think it wise to make *coughforcecough* mods not to join clans.
