I agree with brokenice.
@BrokenIce: Truthfully, I've been here through at least half of these pranks that always turn out into some new upgrade. At no point do I ever doubt that the forums will be perfectly ok, and at some point I even think the pranks are funny. But the amount of commotion that goes on along with these threads in which we have 27 pages of pure blankness, is ridiculous. So for once I'm actually not going to just leave it alone, and wait it out. For once I feel like just stopping it at the source before we all look silly in the wake of another prank. To say I want the members to "win" for once wouldn't be too far from the truth...

But what about those of us who need a spam thread to relieve ourselves in a sense.
I think that I'm a little misunderstood about the fact that people think I don't want any spam. This is not true, I could care less. It's specifically where we're doing it, and how bad we look when we do it. I couldn't care less if we did this anywhere else, except in a thread(s) that are left open/created purely to make us look stupid. Blame if you want for that, but I really don't want it to happen again for the 100th time.
Why do you think I delete these when they get out of hand?

You have put forth a good argument but are you saying we should spam somewhere that wasn't meant to be spammed in rather than spamming in a thread that was made for spam?
^Not explicitly even though I realized how weird that sounded. It was more for the point than for the fact that I actually want people to spam. I probably should have phrased it better in hindsight.
@Slick Mario: It doesn't change the fact that these threads are here to begin with. If we talk about anything that's actually discussion worthy I don't care if this thread stays. But when we have these you hear conspiracy theories and everyone biting the bait. Right now there's nothing to discuss so why do we have this thread but to: "I wonder what it is" or "I can't wait!".

These jokes are really putting a lot of people on edge here. Most if not all of us want these weird announcements to end as it is putting to many members on edge. Is it not or is the forums really shutting down? People think this is real. For some of us we don't know what is going to happen here. This is NOT April Fools. Please save the jokes for next year. Thanks.

I actually would think that was pretty funny, if you weren't one of the people that likes this type of drama. In fact if I didn't know for a fact that you were taking this the hardest, and bugging out at the fact this forum *may* end (though it wouldn't) I would reply to you more directly than I am. But since I would have found that post funny I won't.
I just want to say calm down and enjoy the party(spamfest) if something is going to happen let it happen. If it closing than have a good time before it closes if it doesn't well than that's even better. Just relax.
