^ lol thats what I done at school. I knew the park was where the money was at. I couldve topped a $1000 =(
 
If you are strong, catty at a fancy golf course/country club. You get paid more than minimum wage, and if you go to a rich golf course, you get big tips (10-X00$).
 
If you're good with computers, and you live in a neighbourhood with a lot of elderly folks, you can usually get them to pay a lot for simple tasks like installing FireFox. As long as you charge under mainstream tech. support/assistance companies like Geek Squad, you're in the green, and that's not really all that hard anyways since they charge ungodly amounts for their services.

Alternatively, you can also water plants for people in your neighbourhood in the summer -- a lot of people go on vacations and stuff in the summer, so it's a perfect chance to keep their plants well-watered while they're gone. The same goes for general house-sitting and pet-sitting.

I got my first Gameboy Colour by doing this.

A good idea to try is to talk to your parents/family members about giving you money for good grades. I know my grandpa gives me and my sister $50 for every report card we get straight A's on, so its a good incentive to do well in school as well as a way for making money.

Bad idea. This sort of reward system gets you into bad habits and gives you unnaturally high expectations for later in life.
