Monopoly

Yeah, it surprises a lot of people how bad the Dark Blues are. it costs a whopping $2750 to fully develop them. A nice trick to use is only building up to 3 houses on each of the colour groups, unless it is the first street that is, because that's where you get your highest return for your money. I personally HATE (yes, I said hate) Pokemon Monopoly's side rules (the one's that happen when you get doubles). Yeah, it's kinda hard to say I hate a Pokemon thing on Pokebeach, but it's true. I saw the wrong list before for the order of goodness for the groups, so I'll say it again. The first list is in order of Payoff:

1) Orange (23.5%)
2) Light Blue (20.7%)
3) Red (17.8%)
4) Light Purple (17.7%)
5) Dark Blue (17.3%)
6) Yellow (17.2%)
7) Railroad (16.0%)
8) Green (16.0%)
9) Dark Purple (13.6%)
10) Utility (7.5%)

The next list will be in order of Payback:

1) Dark Blue (63.6%)
2) Dark Purple (56.5%)
3) Light Blue (52.9%)
4) Orange (46.9%)
5) Light Purple (41.2%)
6) Yellow (38.3%)
7) Red (36.4%)
8) Green (33.6%)
9) Railroad (25.0%)
10) Utility (23.3%)

The next list will be in order of cost (fully developed, least to greatest):

1) Utility ($300)
2) Dark Purple ($620)
3) Railroad ($800)
4) Light Blue ($1070)
5) Light Purple ($1940)
6) Orange ($2060)
7) Dark Blue ($2750)
8) Red ($2930)
9) Yellow ($3050)
10) Green ($3920)

The next list will be in order of chance to land on in one trip around the board:

1) Railroad (64%)
2) Orange (50%)
3) Red (49%)
4) Yellow (45%)
5) Green (44%)
6) Light Purple (43%)
7) Light Blue (39%)
8) Utility (32%)

Which one is dark purple? The order (going around the board) was: Brown, Light Blue, Purple, Orange, Red, Yellow, Green, Dark Blue.

The plots colored brown are also colored dark purple. (The first two spaces on the game board. Baltic and Mediterranean Avenues.)

Brown Colour Group? Never heard of it :/

I believe they color-coded Monopoly different from the U.S style (with no brown) to a European style (with the brown replacing the dark purple).

At least, that's what I think.

Okay. I use the original colours/names of everything. Another thing I hate is when people call the Light Purple group the Pink group D:

It does look Pink (at least in mine). I wouldn't be surprised with people confusing them.

I prefer Risk or Life if I'm going to play a really long board game, but nobody around me seems to like them or have time for them. They and I would feel the same way about Monopoly if there's wasn't the Speed Die. Man, that Speed Die.

Monopoly games only take about an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and 30 minutes on average, unlike Risk which takes like 3 hours or something. Speed die sucks. My friend's Dad got the Light Purple group on the first turn and then he quit :/
