i am stuck on the larvesta on monster hunter tri and i was wondering what the best weapon to use on him. money is not a issue so i want to know your thoughts. thanks and bye

A water weapon of course. What style weapon do you use? There is a MH3 Clan in the Clubs section if you want more help faster.

no, the last boss in the water, the lava dude was easy

The big offline guy with horns? His name is Ceadeus.

He has a 2 part battle:
1) chase him to the arena thing.
2) kill him.

If you are dealing cutting damage, aim for the beard or tail.
If you are dealing impact damage, aim for the beard or back.

Dragon type weapons do the most damage. Avoid water weapons.

You can do it. I'd give him a 5.5/10 in difficulty.

You left out the best weapon (in my opinion) on the poll by the way, the GreatSword.

You left out things on the poll, dude. You left out:
Longsword (LS)
Switch Axe (SA)
Greatsword (GS) I really like LS, but SA is my second favorite weapon. Although I like them them all (besides Gunner) those are the ones I find the most fun to play with.

I see in the poll you are missing the Long or Great Sword, I haven't played in a while.

I am hunting, and finishing off the Lagisarcis, or the game cover monster. I can't remember, I guess it's okay.
