Even though it is ''unconfirmed'', it looks exactly like legit CoroCoro material. I highly doubt it is fake; quality fakes like this do not exist.

Not everything with the same colour-scheme is related (Mawile has a slightly darker tone of yellow, though). They do not resemble each other. Also, the banana-dog-lizard is Electric/Normal.

Probably not a pre-evo, since it's an Electric type... That was my first thought too though.

I was hoping for a robin or a magpie. I'm sure GF will do something creative. They usually do.

It's a robin, just a Japanese one.

It knows Nitro Charge so...perhaps it will evolve into a phoenix-looking thing? That'd be cool. Then again, plenty of other Pokemon who aren't fire types/going to be fire types know that move too.

The electric thing looks like they forgot to erase a stray line on its face, which doesn't look good. However, the rest of the design is quite interesting.

I'm not sure what to think of the yak.

But that panda is pretty nice. ;D

I know it's a Japanese robin. That's what I was hoping for.

I don't see a phoenix evolving from a robin. Maybe it knows Nitro Charge because it's very fast, Like Blitzle.

Not really excited for the Robin Pokemon, especially if it turns out to be the regional bird, since it looks to be about as generic and samey as ever other regional bird in existence. Can we please have one that isn't Normal/Flying for once? It's really getting stale. Flame Charge is okay, but by itself it's nothing to write home about.

The others are fine, and I really like the Electric/Normal type. But the Panda looks more like it should be Dark, not Fighting.

Some existing Pokémon are more simple design-wise than the bird. Simplicity is not a bad thing. I think the bird looks fine.

The bird looks fine to me. I like it. There's nothing wrong with it. Besides, you might change your mind when it's evolves. (They usually evolves, the regional birds thing)

Edit: Just noticed something, they revealed small info on the starters pokemon. They said, "Froakie, is able to jump as high as a three-story building." Water/Flying anyone??

I am with Pokequaza, I think the bird looks fine, simplicity isn't a bad thing. The lizard though, I thought it was some sort of weenie dog at first but I don't hate it's design. Over all I am very excited with these reveals all the Pokemon look really cool. But how about those trainers? I have to admit the girl looks really cool this generation and the guy doesn't look bad now that I see him in full rendered art.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too, Towel. I do hope the bird evolves into something really interesting though, and gets rid of the eyes. The eyes just kind of make it look *too* ordinary, you know?

So these guys are probably the "mascot" Pokemon...I'm expecting all of them to have some sort of evolution, though I think Gogoat might just have a pre-evolution instead, though maybe that's just me thinking that it's kind of like a ram version of Sawsbuck.

It seems to be a gimmick Pokémon, one you can ride on. They usually do not evolve, so I presume this might be a Pokémon without evolutionary relatives.

Serebii.net seems to think the "new" Pokemon released are legit. I haven't found anything on the official English website, though.

That weiner dog, ReggieMcGigas, is a Electric/Normal type Lizard.

In mythology, phoenix's are known to "sing". Yayakoma is also a songbird. Eh, maybe it could be a phoenix pokemon. We already have Moltres, though. I personally like Yayakoma's design and wouldn't mind if it turned out to be the new generic Normal/Flying bird pokemon.

As far as Elikiteru... I love it. I've never even thought about a Electric/Normal type possibility. And an Electric lizard? Who wouldn't want to use it on their in-game team?
