BW/BW2 More info on the Illusion Ability of Zorua/Zoroark.

Why you not write something?

Why not just disguise it as a Pokemon with a similar move-pool. Would that be more strategic?

I was using Magikarp as an example, that's it. You can put whatever pokemon you want in the 2nd position, I'm just saying if you don't use a pokemon with a simular move set it will be obvious.

Or they'll think your a hacker...

Well I beat you a least ten doallers that the chaimpon and random pokemon trainers will have a Zoura or Zoroark and we think that the ability is useless to us, but to the game, it can be there bigest surprise to us making it a whole lot harder when we use Phsycic types against it.

I'd assume that Zoroark/Zorua would enter the battle, and it would say that 'Zoroark transformed into *insert Pokemon here*'. Otherwise, it would be so Uber.

Oh guys just calm down! It's only one ability and only two Pokemon can use it! Just because two Pokemon can use it DOES NOT RUIN THE ENTIRE GAME!

But we don't know if its appearance changes before it's sent into battle or RIGHT after it's sent out...right? If it's the second, then it's, once again, a completely useless ability. If it's the first one, then I can definitely see some interesting things happening with the metagame...

Trainer A sent out *best lead in 5th gen competitive battling*
Trainer B send out *best counter to best lead* (Being disguised b Zoroark)
Trainer A switches into a Pokémon that can counter Trainer B's, but then Trainer B reveals that it's Zoroark and just eliminates the new switch-in.

Interesting stuff.

Best strategy I've heard, It would be a one time sweeper until they see though your disguise.

Ingenious. Just disguise is as a Poke that can learn the same move. Im sure dark pulse or something could be widespread. =)

Are you kidding? That'd ruin his ability.

Plus, yes it's cool, but it's far from making a Poke uber. Once he's attacked, or attacks (depending on moves, stats, etc), then anyone can immediately call him off as a Zoroark.

As well, people would know at least one of the other Pokemon you have in your party, so you're really showing them something to prepare for.

Which made me think that I need to use Zoroark as an imitation Shedinja :D
