Pokemon most forgotten type

What, How come no has said Steel? It is the least accounted for pokemon. I mean sure you got Lucario and that new starter but i dont think anyone realizes that it is in fact steel.

Normal and Ground.
Normal because many people think it's boring, because it's just normal.
And Ground because some people think it's rock types, since they look like each other, and i think the Rock type is more popular than Ground.

The reason that nobody realy remembers steel is because thier are no pure steel types other than registeel and Mawile. I think that Ice types are not that common in game when you actualy want to catch pokemon for the story(you know the ones you get attached to) so thier pretty unused but the most forgotten would IMO be dark even though i love umbreon :(

I always forget which pokemon are poison. It frustrates me so much that I have to look up every time i come across one.

bug type cuz the only one worth using is yanmega and there needs to be more ghost type mons and moves, there isnt enough
i think the posion type needs more strengths; its only good against grass. i think poison should be effective against bug(insecticide!)

Ghost type only beacuse it accounts for the least no. of Pokes in the Dex.
Then there's a second tier of underused and/or under-represented types (and because they are like this they are more forgotten) such as steel, dark, poison, ice etc.

You also get those that everyone has loads of but can't be asked with generally like bug and normal (I've never had a permenant member of my party be a pure bug or normal type).

Then there are those that GF seem to forget to make even though most people use them like fire and dragon.

I would say bug, although it's not an entirely weak type, just very little are actually good (Scizor, Forretress, Heracross, etc.)

Ghost definitely for me, I love their designs but I'd never actually use them, same with bug who I love even more. But like for some reason ghost dosen't even register to me as a type half the time :(

Poison is hands down the WORST type offensively in the game, yet it's terribly overused, same with rock which has the absolute worst defenses.

Poison, absolutley. For Bug there is Scizor, Heracross, Forretress, and Yanmega in OU/BL. There are zero Poison-types. Both of those types could use better moves, though. D=

I second poison. Toxic and Toxic spikes are really the only moves used in competitive play, and Tentacruel, Roserade, and Gengar are really the only big poison types that come to mind. (Gengar's poison type doesn't do too much for it anyways) Steel being immune to poison is another big reason it's not very popular. 4 resistances is decent, but being supper effective against only one type, and being not very effective or not effective at all against 5 types adds to the reasons of why it's so underused.

wow... this is still going on? i'm happy!

on topic: i think posion has been forgotten too! only effective to grass... not fair....

I originally said ghost, but I have to change my answer to ice. Seriously. Ice is SO forgotten to me as a type, that I forgot about it when I made my first post, but remembered it when I was looking at a type chart today. Most of the ice types in the game are mixed with water, so it's easy for me to forget they are a type. Like, I use ice beam all the time, but I forget that there are actual ice POKEMON as well rofl. What is there that's not also water? Snowrunt and it's evos, Smoochum and Jynx, and um Snover and Abomasnow? Are there any more non-water ice types? I seriously can't process ice being a pokemon type LOL, I'm so to use ice attacks on non-ice types.

I remember when Red & Blue came out, the strategy guides and stuff said "USE FIRE POKEMON AGAINST LORELEI BECAUSE SHE'S ICE" I was like WTF? Even in my first playthrough I wasn't that stupid O_O You could use a fire type against Jynx, but that's it.

Bug.I completely forget bug.Bug just seems so unaware at times. As well as ice.
