Pokemon Most Memorable Pokemon Moment Thread

Feasting my eyes on Pokemon Blue and Red on the first time, buying them, and plopping down and sinking several hours into those bad boys I had no idea what I was doing though... I was only five and could barely read.

In TCG, it was going to my league for the first time, learning the basics of what would become my favorite card game ever, and meeting my best friends who taught me the ropes.

When I was... 6, I was in school, I fell down some steps, got caught by some glass that had been spilled there somehow, and my leg needed stitches, so I was sitting in the entrance hall waiting for my mum with a teacher, crying, and one of the big kids came along, and saw my leg, and I'd been crying, so he gave me a bunch of his pokemon cards. Hooked.

From the games, it would be beating the entire game of gold with my lv 100 typhlosion.
 
TCG: Getting first with Durant at BR
VG: Catching a shiny Zubat a day after my brother caught a shiny kakuna.
 
I have two moments that I can choose over.
1) Completing my Pokedex in Soul Silver. It was the 1st time I ever caught 'em all.
2) Getting Pokemon White 2 on the day it came out when I went to Japan. There was so much free stuff: stickers, flyers, and one of the workers gave me a paper pikachu sun visor hat they were wearing (an ad for pokemon Best Wishes and the BW2 games)! That night, I was watching a dance game show and every break there'd be an ad for BW2! The next morning, I was able to watch Pokemon Sunday and they were playing with the game. Oh it was so much fun. Then all the people I was tagging with my 3DS were playing White and Black 2 after that day. xD
 
When Pikachu saves Ash from the flock of Pidgeys.
I cried my eyes out.
In the first episode.
Imagine all the emotion when Ash almost left Pikachu in the forest.
I burst into tears.
 
Most memorable moment? Can't really remember any good ones except for when I found a shiny Quagsire in Platinum.
 
Video Game: In Emerald I was playing and I was really having trouble with catching Rayquaza. I threw a Poke Ball at Rayquaza when he was at maximum HP, and I caught it. I was like throwing a party after I caught him.
Trading Card Game: Getting 1st place at 3 tournements in a row with my Donphan Dragons Deck. Ever since then I havent had any success in the TCG.
 
Competitively, peaking high on PO's Wifi NU ladder and placing well in about every tournament I did.

Casually... I'd say finding 3 shiny Pokemon within one week in the wild if that counts.
 
Video Game:
I must have been in some younger grade; 2nd? 1st?

I was playing my newly gotten Gameboy Pocket and my neighbor came over and showed me Pokemon Red. I borrowed it and fell in love. My earliest memory is getting to Viridian Forest and remembering "Pikachu's Nest" and thinking, "mice don't have nests, only birds do."

When he came over to retrieve it, I had misplaced it and torn my house up looking for it. My mom finally found it in the car key basket. But a few weeks later, she took me to Toys R Us and handed me the slip to take to the counter to get video games - it was for Pokemon Red!

Thus began my entrance into Pokemon that my girlfriend only strengthens. I recently got the Pikachu 3DSXL and she bought me Pokemon White 2 to play on it, with the condition that she watches me.
