Terastal Festival ex released in Japan last week!
I’ve gathered the average card prices from auction websites. These prices give us a clue of the initial interest in these cards. These are the most valuable cards in the set as of today:

Umbreon (Master Ball RH): 37,000 yen ($242)
Umbreon ex (SIR): 33,000 yen ($216)
Sylveon ex (SIR): 11,000 yen ($72)
Sylveon (Master Ball RH): 9,500 yen ($62)
Espeon ex (SIR): 7,000 yen ($46)
Glaceon ex (SIR): 6,700 yen ($44)
Leafeon ex (SIR): 5,900 yen ($39)
Pikachu ex (Gold UR): 5,800 yen ($38)
Eevee & Other Eeveelutions (Master Ball RHs): 5,500 to 6,000 yen ($36 to $39)

No way we will have those SIR down to 1-2$ in English and if they do.. then just WOW….

REALLLLLLY curious how the hit rate will pan out in English - so much demand intimately it will be interesting to see where everything lands and if we get any pokeball guarantee in packs …

Do we know yet if we get 2 or 3 reverses ?
Is there a “regular Reverse holo”
Then a “reverse holo with Pokeball”
And “reverse holo with Masterball”

Or is it just poke and master ??

I always forget peronal opinions of a card's art determine the value of them. We had so many people here swearing up and down how everyone hates hats, no one wants them and whatever and lo and behold the prices always contradict them. Now I dont believe personally the prices of these Ogerpons will increase much but we'll see

I think a big difference is that the hats are goofy but generally the fan-favorite pokemon are still worth a good amount (an exception is SAR charizard from obsidian flames but that's because pull rates were very inflated in the early sets before temporal forces I believe)

Ogerpon isn't popular at all and with the amount of product being opened for this set chances are it'll be cheap forever. Of course, that's not a bad thing if you enjoy this as a hobby and not as a stock market. I personally would prefer all cards being cheap and accessible as they were in the early gen 9 sets versus the nonsense we've been seeing lately

I would bet money out of my next paycheck that if they redid the Eeveelution SIRs without the hats and an actual detailed environment they'd be much more valuable.

Meanwhile Ogerpon being the 5th Gen IX most popular pokemon: 🧍 . Like honestly if you're out of touch with the current fanbase or whatever is one thing but why do people keep claiming they know when they clearly dont. And if 5th place doesnt tell you anything, it was more popular than Ceruledge and Sprigatito. Obviously polls will change and what not but to say Ogerpon isnt popular is certainly an opinion
 
These trends are positive for me, since I don't care about Tera SIR cards; however, there have been plenty of times when the English and Japanese pricings are way out of whack. Still, this is promising.

Lmao no shot Ogerpon is 5th most popular pokemon of this generation. They must have bots running those polls. At best it's one of the more polarizing pokemon of gen ix. It's a Munkidori away from being worst legendary of all time. Enough trying to will it into relevancy
