Mother Gengar

Okay I have been seeing that pop up alot lately and I has no clue what the deck is, so my question is:What is Mother Gengar?
I think it is Nidoqueen RR with Gengar SF, but I'm not sure, also I have no clue on the combo. Thanks.

You are correct on what the cards are. Now the combo is that Nidoqueen removes damage counters from Gengar in between turns which makes it a heck of a lot harder to avoid the Feinting Spell with a Poison Structure. It's really a Gengar variant that trys to force Feinting Spell to occur.

Okay, thank you lunar wing, so would the pokemon lines look something like this?
4-2-4 Gengar
3-2-3 Nidoqeen
2 Uxie
2-2 Claydol
1 Azelf
That seems like a standard line to me but not so sure. Thanks again.

3-2-3 is epic overkill. Nidoqueen isn't an attacker, really, just a healer 8)

3-2-3 Nidoqueen is overkill. You only need either 2-1-2 or even 1-0-1. That way you can fit some room for Crobat G and Poke Turn. Those two (Poke Turn/SSU works) can prove to be very devastating with Diagla G, due to quickly KO'ing Uxie and Claydol.

I also find Nidoqueen to work with Gengar for more chances to score KO's before Gengar himself gets KO'ed.

One more thing I, and others neglected to mention is Unown G. If they Shadow Room Gengar, Nidoqueen won't be able to remove enough (60-10+60=110 still) to stop that, so Unown G is a must to make Fainting Spell happen.

Crobats are important as well.

Actualy, unless they Crobat G you no KO. The damage happens in between turns. A fast Nidoqueen helps as it, overall, removes 20 damage (before and after your turn means 60-20.) But I agree, as a slower Nidoqueen can hurt. Unown G helps you big time against mirror matches.

Okay so here's the new pokemon line
3-2-3 Gengar
2-1-2 Nidoqueen
2 Crobat G
2 Unown G
2 Uxie
2-2 Claydol
1 Azelf
Also is there anything in SV that could actually help this deck?

And also that Azelf you stuck in that list, it's not needed whatsoever. Might as well replace it for an Unown G. And I also agree with the others that posted here that a 3-2-3 Nidoqueen is overkill and it should be played as a 2-1-2.

Yeah, forgive me, I miscalculated xD. *facepalms irl*

Even so, you'll be saving Candy's for quicker Nidoqueen's anyway. You NEED a thicker Gengar line. 4-2-4 for sure. The more Gengar's you have, the more Fainting Spell's you have.

4-2-4 Gengar

And 1-1-1 Nidoqueen is best if you're playing BTS. It's a varient of Gengar that heals and makes other decks harder to bypass Fainting Spell. I've been testing it out and it's pretty good.

dmaster out.

So the new poke line now is
4-2-4 Gengar
2-1-2 Nidoqueen
2 Uxie
2-2 Claydol
1 Unown G
2 Crobat G
So I think that's good now, just a note my standard evolution t/s/s line is 4 RC and 2 BTS. If that helps.

2-0-2 Nidoqueen is all that is required.....you BTS gengar as often as possible and save that candy for the Queen...also allows you a little more space for SSU

I have to say this to Delight. FAIL. Unless a line is 1-0-1 never have a zero in the middle of a stage 2 line. I personaly use a 1-1-1 because it can be easier to get out. And so I can save a candy.

If you want a weapon in the deck I have 2 words for you. Warp Point. If they don 't have a good set up (Like only having one of there main attackers) it can screw your opponent up pretty bad. Especially if they have Powers.

Okay, I love warp point and a 2-1-2 is more consistent than 2-0-2 and then I can save candy. Also I almost always play 4-2-4 because 4-3-4 is more bulky and then really doesn't help that much. I like candy over BTS.
