Ok, well, I have recently started playing the tcg again and tried to get cards from my collection for a good match, i love tyranitar and thought he would be good for deck, and maybe a possible counter for Rayquazas with the help of yveltal. Please give your feedback and what you would change!

Strategy:
It might surprise how fast this deck is, can usually get a full Mega Tyranitar ready to roll out around turn 3. The strategy isn't that complicated and there are multiple ways to approach this. You can first use oblivion wing to power up while still accelerating energy and putting damage counters on the opposing, or you can use pitch black spear and target EX pokemon and when the pitch black spear yveltal faints you can clean up with mega tyranitar. The final way is just full out attacking with Tyranitar, yes it would take a while and you would probally use lose two of them.

I run this deck also; and from my experience, it is surprisingly good. A few comments:
  • My strategy is quite different than yours; STS Hoopa is my preferred starter. After Hyperspace Punch attacking a few times (even at the cost of losing 1-2 Hoopa), my opponent's board is usually setup for 1HKOs from that point on. Consider replacing some of your non-essential, Basic Pokémon in order to max-out your Hoopa count.
  • Since M Tyranitar EX has an Ancient Trait, it doesn't seem that you are taking advantage of that.
  • Your 4 Parallel City should be more than enough to counter M Ray EX decks. Lol. I'd suggest replacing 1 with a Delinquent for more flexibility.
Lastly, @Robin Aisaga started another M Ttar thread (http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/threads/mega-tyranitar-ex-weavile-clawitzer.135374/#post-2825561) you might find interesting.

I hope you find these comments helpful.
