His reputation is not what makes him suspicious. It's the clues and his grammar.
Keep in mind that MSE is from Malaysia. In countries that adopted the English language in the last 50 years, the grammar may not be perfect and in fact may turn out slightly different than either American or British English, even in the written form. Besides, MSE's writing style is not at all like the style used to write the note. Though I do believe grammar is valuable evidence, it cannot be used to convict MSE.
Also, note that the murderer did not capitalize the first word of every sentence but instead capitalized words like See and Flare, which we all seem to have picked up on. If you refer to
post 68, you will see a definite difference between the two writing styles. Thus MSE cannot be the murderer.

"The Reshiram (MS Eeveelution) makes such a rash key point to the Froslass with the 'S' and 'F' without even considering the 'H'. It is likely he is the murderer and attempting to frame the Froslass, even adding "ghost" to throw us off. Can't accuse anyone yet, as it's not even remotely concrete..."
Um, Zyflair... "H" for "Hatman"? And the "ghost" thing wasn't MSE's suspicion, it was mine. And he did raise the probability that Froslass is not the murderer but rather the next target. If you don't understand what I'm doing, I'm trying to clear MSE's name.

i dunno, but I don't like being framed. Also, How was Empoleon killed? was there any evidence of what weapon was used, or if it was just the bare hands/feet/whateverthepokemonhas?

There is a lot of truth to this statement; he is too much of a n00b. Too much to play the game correctly. Not too much to be a murderer. And being a n00b does not discount the possibility that Hatman is the murderer. And if you look at the capitalization pattern, you'll see it
matches the pattern in the note! Thus I have every reason to believe that Hatman is the murderer. My vote remains as such.
