RE: Murder VIII - Rescue Mission (Day 3 Ends August 28th, 8PM EST!)

"But obviously that wouldn't work. Because you are voting for him. Because people always vote for someone who is mentioned. Batui just barely survived lynching yesterday! I heard of a time (aka last game) where the murderer clearly put clues in his clue to point at *insert that person's name here, I can't remember* on the first night, and everyone voted for them. Mentioning yourself would be too risky. The actual murderer has mentioned so many people already though, that I wouldn't be surprised if he mentioned himself. However, Darkrai's Nightmare has too much attention being drawn to him for me to think he is the murderer."

Lol dude. I'm a Ditto. Since I pointed evidence at you, you're gonna twist the facts to get me voted out? I can unvote at any time today, but you're not giving me a very good reason to. n00b or not.

Ooc:
Exactly. Your Ditto. And what do ditto's do? They shape-shift. An ever shifting pink blob. Where have I heard that word before?
"a shifting evil locks his heart"
Hurdur. Personally, I find Ditto to have alot of potential in being an evil pokemon. It can shift into whatever it wants, trick other pokemon tons, etc. Hmmm, what a shifting evil.

Now on the matter of the accomplice, errr, the Phantom. By the look of his note, he's obviously NOT a roleplayer, or at least not a good one. "Hatman's favorite pokemon is Himonlee, and Himonlee is super-effective against Darkrai."(or something like that) A roleplayer would say something along the lines of, "Himonlee is a very strong match against Darkrai. Therefore, it would be a nightmare for Darkrai to deal with, Darkrai's Nightmare." Notice how the accomplice uses the words "Favorite Pokemon." Now, realize in this game we are Pokemon. Would Hatman be his own favorite Pokemon? Well, yeas, he's very self-centered like that. ( :p ) But that's besides the point. A rolepayer wouldn't have talked like they were playing a game on an internet forum. Now if I recall correctly, alot of people were talking like that on Day One, legendhunter is the first one that comes to my head, but there were alot of people talking like that. So yeah.

And one last thing. Remember kids, it's up to you to catch the murder prevent forestfires.

^The evil that haunts us all, I'm sure
The "shifting" was describing the "evil" in the clue, and in turn, the heart, not the Pokemon itself (I think...) but I'm not really getting what shifting evil is pointing towards anyways. It's funny, both of the Pokemon I'm based on (ShadowLugia and Ditto) both shift. Anyways, I think the clue, now that Hypno has explained it, points towards Ditto too easily. Looking past the obvious choice is something we haven't done so far, and look where it's got us. As for other clues, I've got none. "Locking" could be a clue, perhaps referencing to Wynaut's Shadow Tag ability? :I I've got nothing.

I find your logic flawed and find you suspicious. I disagree that it's SL

RE: Murder VIII - Rescue Mission (Day 3 Ends August 28th, 8PM EST!)

Alright, looks like there's no changing your guy's mind. This guy seems to be being framed, but wait, what if he's framing himself? Let's vote him out to be safe. So let's do exactly what the murderer wants and trust his notes. Groovy guys, really. But wait, there's a lot of evidence pointed at me. I mean the accomplice wrote my name in HIS notes, let's trust them, which is exactly the opposite of what you should do. I normally just disregard their notes all together and trust the CoG clues. And I don't really see how the CoG clues point to me. They point to some other people more than me at least. So yeah, please feel free to reconsider and not trust the murderer's clues.

Well that's very nice that you find my logic flawed. But you forgot one thing. Why. Why do you find my logic flawed? At least tell us why you do your actions. This is the second time you accused/defended somebody without providing ANY evidence. Not bad evidence, simply no evidence at all. Nice one bro.

RE: Murder VIII - Rescue Mission (Day 3 Ends August 28th, 8PM EST!)

"Well, I think we may be on to something with shifting. However, it says shifting evil. Ditto isn't evil. It's a normal type that most trainers stick in the day care and forget about. But, when I was looking over the species here, I noticed Nabby is a Zorua. Zorua can use it's ability to shapeshift and it's a dark type, which is kinda close to being evil. Moreover, I believe there was a Zoroark in something the humans made (movie....) that was evil, and Zoroark is the evolved form of Zorua. Also, like Ditto, its shapeshifting abilities could make someone envious or hold power over them by tricking them. However, I have no clue how a war would relate to Zoruas or nabby. Also, nothing in either murderer's note mentions nabby, and he hasn't said anything suspicious, so I guess he probably isn't a bad guy. Something to think about, though."

RE: Murder VIII - Rescue Mission (Day 3 Ends August 28th, 8PM EST!)

ok let's see...how is a ditto actually evil? no anime/manga/etc to suggest that ditto are evil. that's a very far reach

"I just have to thank the Spinarak and Buizel for expressing signs of forethought. Yeah, the case against the Ditto is pretty solid."

"The case against the ditto is non-existant!, just because your accomplice and some person agrees with you doesnt actually mean it's evidence!"

And what do you think Ditto does in that daycre all day? Probably have perverted thoughts, plot on how to get rid of their masters, etc, etc.

Ooc: Sorry, that actually is a much better fit.
/me forgot a Zorua was playin'

@mlouden, Nice one line defense.

That was before they discovered that DW Pokemon were released in small numbers. We're still waiting on Eccentric Ditto, and nobody cares about something that isn't released yet. >_>

"Calm down bro, let's use our inside voices and come to a nice, logical conclusion on who to vote. And why not express why you think there isn't evidence against him... Because there seems to be. Meanwhile the only evidence against me is that the accomplice's note suggests he has some obsession with me. But since the murder's note says that, you were bandwagoning me. It's funny, you seem to trust the murderer's notes more than the CoG clue."

We trust them because it's drawing attention to you, and one way or another, you're related. You've yet to provide a shred of evidence to save yourself...

I don't understand your thinking whatsoever. So what if it's drawing attention to me? I don't now why he chose me, but he did. So if my name's in a murderer's note, let's vote it? I don't know if you understand that the murderer's notes don't have to give real information and like 100% of the time don't. The CoG clue's clues don't point to me at all (besides the type thing I guess). You're pointed to waaay more than me and the CoG clues are the only thing that matter. In other words, we should just disregard the notes in the first place. My evidence that saves me is the fact that there is like no evidence on me to begin me. Also my evidence to save me is that there is evidence against you. Vote time I guess.

Anyone else like how mlouden and him seem to be very chummy together?

Buizel took out his cell phone and started dialing a number. "Crap, no signal," he said, as he jetted over to an island. He found a reception at ( item: ) B: B4. "Yo, Phoenix, my man," He said loudly into the phone. "Hey, I'm on that quest I was talking to you about before. But there's this real lazy guy, name's mlouden. He told me to sue him. Would you mind.... Oh thanks, that's great. Your the boss. And BTW, if you don't hear from me in awhile, probably means I've been murdered. K, thanks, bye." Buizel hung up the phone. "Yo mlouden, my friend just sued you. Be ready for the bill when this crap is over!" he shouted over the crowd to mlouden.

RE: Murder VIII - Rescue Mission (Day 3 Ends August 28th, 8PM EST!)

Ah, sorry bout that, Porygon, couldn't resist. :p
But I've not even mentioned mlouden in my posts, but if he's going to defend me (although somewhat awkwardly), I say let him. My vote remains unchanged, unless someone can point evidence to Nabby, coming from the recent Zorua remark. I can't make heads or tails of this.
