I've been thinking about it for a while, and are quite interested (and would like to see) if there is much musical talent on PB. I'm thinking about talents such as singing, song-writing and creating [instrumental] music.

I really want to see some of this musical talent being uploaded to PB. I've also been thinking about running some sorta competition like The X Factor // PokeBeach Idol // PB's Got Talent type of thing, and need to see if it could possibly work on here.

I sing. I'll be performing in my local university's production of Man of La Mancha. We open next week.

I'm very excited that this is finally a thing-- I play trumpet and such, and I've actually just finished a medley of Pokemon Heartgold and Soulsilver music arranged for concert band.

Competitions won't be a thing until a bit more interest is found. And trumpet ^-^ I play trumpet ^-^
 
Well, I wasn't intending it for a competition. Just been wanting to share it on Pokebeach for a while and didn't know where.

I made this 8-bit (kinda) version of the Lumiose City theme about a year and a half ago (no MIDI or anything, all by ear). I love composing and I want to do more of it but unfortunately I just don't have the time at the moment :(

Ah, I'm not a composer (though I'm seeking to do something like that sometime), but I do manipulate vocals and use vocal synthesis technology (yes, I am into singing robots). Pretty much only covers because I'm useless, but I did collaborate on an arrange, I guess. I've actually wanted to remix the Colress Battle theme forever but the MIDI I have confuses me and I don't own any good VSTs///

Maybe someday I'll actually compose :p
 
For my game design class, I actually had to compose my own music. Took some time to get used to the software and also playing with the instruments, but I ended up focusing on flute and piano. Sadly, my teacher was too focused on the game to enjoy the beauty of the music I had created during his check. x_x
 
I was wondering if any musicians on here wanted to collaborate on a piece.

Maybe we could make a "PokeBeach Anthem"

I am working on one for Oracion (Darkrai movie) and am collaborating on a parody/remix for Wrecking Ball and Fight Song about catching Mewtwo :D
I've also completed a remix of Pokémon Plaza from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon (Red/Blue Rescue Team) but it's not very good. It was one of my first remixes; I'm improving now.
 
I'm actually a composer, so any kind of competition in this forum would be more than appreciated by me. :)

I love music. Not only do I listen to it constantly, but I've also even tried making "remixes" (which is really me just playing a song) of certain video game songs. I've played Smiles and Tears before, as well as Sonic–You Can Do Anything, and they're both fairly bad (even though they both took a few hours to do). They've got some decent quality, though. I've also been thinking of doing a cover of a song (been thinking Gyakuten Winner or Escape From The City), but I can never get a decent recording. I'll probably post it when I get good recording for once.
