every time i try to put an avy in it says:

"The URL you enterd for your avatar does not appear to be valid. Please ensure you enter a valid URL."

i always copy it and then paste so its exactly the same.

help!
 
Same thing happens to me. I think hosted pictures do not work for some people. Try to upload files directly from your computer.
 
I don't have problem with mine, maybe the avatar size you trying to put is too large....Or maybe you can try to locate another avatar from other url, if that works, then most probably there is problem on the website you get the avatar from.
 
I had the same problem, it means your picture is too big (I think). Try right-clicking the picture, choose save as, save it on your desktop, go to your CP, upload the avatar you saved, then delete the saved avatar on your desktop.
