I've been making fake cards for a while, and this is one of the few times that I actually let other people see it.

Long live Omega FangKing and his advanced blanks!

These were the first four cards I ever created. Unlike a lot that I see, the art for each card is of my own doing.

I'm in the process of making the Diamond/Pearl blanks, so it would be great if you guys can peek into my other thread and check those out, help me critique them if you can.
 
I think ALL these fakes are cool, and Dark Glaceon is my favorite. I do have 1 question, though. Where'd you get the energy symbols for Corrupted Jessie ex?
 
Dark Glaceon is my youngest sister's favorite outside her personal custom, Rena's Weavile.

The energy for Corrupted Jessie EX was in a pack that was released by FangKing. He made a special type called Virus that was green, but to suit my needs, I went ahead and changed the hue to the same blue as Phazon, thus creating a corrupted set.

These are three test cards that I created to test out a a set of Diamond/Pearl blanks I've been working on for about three weeks now. They are about the same size as FangKing's, if not a little smaller height-wise. All art is done myself also. I don't really like taking other people's art, unless they ask me to create a card for them with their art featured in it.

The one of the left is my first draft while the second draft is next to it. The one under the first is my most current draft, and hopefully, the last one. And don't mind the different copyright name. "Falconite," as well as "Falcontress85," are other names that I go under, but since I'm here under "Lt. Jessie," I'm sticking with that.

There are really subtle differences between each one, and only a really sharp eye could catch all of them. The energy symbols in the second and third are all my doing while the first had its taken from the Pokemon Zeo site. Then there are the different font settings, and well as the font themselves.

I liked all the cards, and the corrupted Jessie was awesome!

Let me ask you a question. Why is Pyra's Houndoom EX in Timberland from Halo 1?
 
HAHAHA!!!! I was wondering when someone was going to catch that... XD;;;;

I was playing around in Halo the night I was doing the image for that card, and after standing in this particular position, I found it awesome and snapped the image. And since I wanted Pyra's Houndoom EX to look like it was leaping around in a very hilly area with a stream, I threw this in... ^^;;; It came out good, IMO though...
 
I was like, doesn't that look like Timberland. And my friend comes behind me and were like, that is Timberland! I play Halo a lot...ya, maybe too much.

Oh yeah, here's a preview of what I have been working on for the Diamond/Pearl series. It is currently at 50% the original size with watermarks. I don't plan to release these until they are completed.

First column is normal cards. Second column is normal cards with the special "sparkle" hologram text field. Third column takes on the old EX variant in Diamond/Pearl format, including the EX effect of picking up two prize cards. Fourth column is the old EX variant in Diamond/Pearl format with the special "sparkle" hologram text field.

I will be making Lv. X cards, as well as the Delta Species and FangKing's Shadow cards in Diamond/Pearl format, as soon as I can find time to since it is finals for me next week.
 
WOW, your cards are fantastic! The best on here!!! Were do you get your pokemon images?
 
I draw all of them... Oo;;;

Like I said earlier, I don't like taking art from other people, but I draw my own. Those who do use my art without my permission end up getting in trouble with me. I tend to like to use my own stuff than 'stealing'.
 
WOW! Incredible stuff man, i admit i tend to steal the images i use for banners etc.. i do try and ask for there permission but i hardly ever get responses. I'm going to start drawing alot more! Your cards look real! Amazing stuff!
 
Well, that is sort of the point of customizing/faking. You try to make it as real as possible. With mine, I've been working a very long time to make sure that I get to as close to the original as possible. For me, I only scan to reference and start making it from scratch. Usually then end up being over 30 or so layers, which I can trim down to about 20 by the time I'm done.
 
really good except Cherrim does 80 for 1 grass, 20 to a benched and puts the defending pokemon to sleep and paralyzes them with no bad effects for the person that uses it? WAY too good. But your really good at this. keep it up,

I use a mix of Gill Sans Condensed and Futura LT Medium.

And yes, that Cherrim I need to fix a bit to balance it out >>;;;
 
WOW! These are absoulutley amazing. So you make these blanks from scratch like pixel by pixel?

Scratch as in from the ground up. Going pixel by pixel would take forever, and nearly impossible to complete to this stage in the matter of 3 weeks while also in college... >>;;;

I create each element of the card as a layer and start doing the details by manipulating certain effects and filters to achieve what I want.

Here's my latest custom, a customized Pokemon I created out of boredom.

Wow, another great fake for a fakemon you have fakemon skills and fake card skills and drawing skilld I asome since you said you make your backgrounds.
 
Well, backgrounds are photographs that I take when I go traveling. If I remember correctly, that one was a mountain valley scene somewhere in... Utah...? Or was it Colorado...? Wait... Arizona...? I forget... X_x;;; I know it's not California since I remember taking a tour bus out of state... @.@;;; Aroo~

But yeah, most of my backgrounds will be my own stuff also. You can say that most of my art is original, while others might contain art that other people have and I use with their permission. It's rather tedious to actually go out and take pictures, but some times, these are the best. I usually carry a camera around with me so that when I see something that I like, I'll just take a picture of it, and perhaps use it later on in another piece I'm working on.
 
Ok, so after some talk, my boyfriend and I decided to work on the blanks a bit more to make them look even more realistic than ever. So, probably after... 5 hours of work, here is a preview of the basic cards for the Diamond and Pearl TCG series, almost near perfect digital replicas (Preview is only at 50%).

The virus belongs to Omega FangKing, so props to him for the original design.

We are currently working on the Stage 2 cards before we step into the Stage 1 cards.
 
My latest one, this is the some one as Corrupted Jessie-EX mentioned earlier, but in the Diamond/Pearl format, along with a new card type, Phazon. It's not perfected yet, but it will be soon, hopefully...
