Would a change to 'Noir' count as a minor change? If so, please change it.

^It wouldn't be a minor change, but you can change it back on January 1st if you want. You need to have 250 posts to change your name, though.

Uh Celebi maybe 250 posts is a little low. Why not make it 1,000 posts? Being that I suggest this is it usually takes 6 months or more to get that and new members need to be here at least that long to know the ropes and do not get a ton of warnings and etc. 1,000 posts is more of a fair number man.:)

Trust me, 1000 posts is waaaaaaaaaay too many posts for lurkers like me to get. Plus, people with 250 posts are at least dedicated enough to stay for a while, and if they want a name change, then we shouldn't discourage them to stay longer. :S

xxashxx, not everyone has something to say about almost everything, like you do. Besides, I think having a post requirement in the first place is just to make sure that the requesting members actually has been around.

The current baseline requirements to get one's username changed are sufficient enough, xxashxx. The few other sites that allow changes at all have far stricter requirements (PokeCommunity, if I recall, made it so that you had to wait a year to the date you joined in order to get your name changed or something like that, and made it so that once your name was changed that your old one was open game for anyone new who wanted it... I haven't been there for a long time, though, so I'm just going off memory...).

So I had my name changed Nov. 20th, and its been a month. Can I remove the thing stating what my previous username was?

I am on that site as well but have not seen anything like that before. I bet Serebii has the exact same rule for that too since it is run by V. bulletin also XD. That is far out. Also I suggested 1,000 posts because that way you guys would not be bugged by all the spammers that have 250 posts now.:( Meaning the ones that costantly spam just so they can get their count high enough to do it.:(

Not to be rude or seem like I'm rushing it, but did any s-mods even see these posts? I don't think the name change process takes nearly this long.

Again, sorry if I'm being rude here, just wondering whats going on.

I'm sorry but what? The off-topic discussion in this thread has gotten out of hand imo. Needs to be more requests and less people...talking about it.

EDIT: Hatman sort of ninja'd me, but SotH also requested a name change and didn't get one.

Here's the deal, guys: with more discussion (the majority of which is unnecessary), some posts asking for name changes may get overlooked. Not necessarily what happened here, but just a warning for the future. Second of all, patience is a virtue, everyone. We'd appreciate if you gave us a little more than a day and a half to fulfill name change requests. =) The s-mods have lives as well; I didn't have computer access at all yesterday.

If it's possible I'd lie to change my username to Roguechomp because I spelled "Rogue" wrong.

There is a 250 post minimum before we can change your name. Sorry! ~CMP
