NBA Discussion Thread

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Dwight Howard gave up on the game getting himself ejected, the series, and possibly on the Lakers in general.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Wow, that steal by Curry followed by the three pointer was simply amazing.

Since Westbrook is out for the rest of the postseason, Curry is now the best point guard playing in the playoffs.

Curry just torched the Nuggets

Curry's a one-man wrecking crew for Golden State. Really picked up his play after the second best player on the Warriors; David Lee, got injured.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Can't deny the efforts of Landry, Jack, Barnes and Bogut as well. They all stepped up to the occasion.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Bogut's performance was a close second to Curry's. Just look at that great save he made followed by a lob from Curry. The rest of Denver's big men just can't handle him, and McGee lacks the IQ and minutes to even try.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Just wait till Bogut gets a little bit healthier. GS will be a force in the coming years. I wouldn't be surprised if they play against Miami in the Finals two to three years from now especially if they retain Mark Jackson as their coach/

God ... dammit Indiana. :|

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Such a shame he missed an easy putback like that. I don't blame him for that reaction.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Jason Collins became the first active male player in the Big 4 sports leagues to come out as gay. Good for him, and we'll see more come out and open up soon enough.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Not if they play like they did yesterday...

That's what happens when Durant isn't as aggressive. It's foolish to expect that from him every night but that's what it's going to take to win now.

dmaster out.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Even without Westbrook, the Thunder are still more talented than the Rockets. They should take it in five or six (my original prediction).

I see some Westbrook in Reggie Jackson -- a scorer at the point guard position. We'll see how that integrates into the Thunder's offense.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

I doubt the Thunder will get by the Clippers/Grizzlies in the next round, because I think Westbrook missing will really hurt them in those games.

Yeah, Reggie Jackson has that potential to be a good scorer. This is his opportunity to get noticed by other teams; sort of like Matt Cassel did in the NFL when Tom Brady got injured in 2008.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Heck, Goran Dragic dropping 26 in a quarter against the Spurs was also what made him into a semi-star. It's just that the Suns suck so bad right now
