Same feeling bro, still don't like the Clippers. It's just something from last year I guess, oh wait yeah, when they threw out Memphis who was one of my favorites.

I think I'll be rooting for them now. Considering that Dwight and Pau are out for the Lakers, I'm going to root against them largely because we get their draft pick if they make the lottery.

Wizards lol. I find it funny that two of their five wins are against the Heat and OKC.

They finished 3-1 against both of those teams last year.

Irrelevancy!

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

What's everyone's opinions on this year's All-Star team?

I guess we can talk about the Heat and Lakers game too.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

As much as I like Steve Nash, the Lakers are headed to the lottery this year.

AS Team for West looks like LA+kd

AS Team for East.. Well... KG + Melo on the same starting lineup... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Yeah, East looks like it has a lot of synergy problems lol. The KG and Anthony incident is still a recent event that I think will have an effect on the game. Another thing is that Rondo and Wade have had a few problems in the past with each other. I'm seeing a lot of problems due to the starters' problems with each other.

West looks good ... I wanted Duncan over Howard, but that's just me. Whatever, at least we'll have good reserves. I'm looking forward to West winning again for the third time in a row.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Kevin Durant had 52 points yesterday his career high.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

That game was mightily epic I may add. I'm so glad that I could catch bits and pieces of it in the hotel room on Friday.

Must be nice to shoot 13 for 31 and still score 52 points because you don't miss a free throw. Too freaking good.

Pelicans let's get it!

... not as terrible as I thought lol.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

You beat me to posting the logo. The name still sounds awkward, but the logo seems badass.

Someone make a New Orleans Pelliper logo :O

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Even though I've followed the Hornets since they were back in Charlotte, I can safely approve of this. I'm actually kinda happy it didn't wind up looking like a Pelliper, lol.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Now would be a good time to go out and get Curry, Jennings, Brook, etc. on your fantasy teams. It's All-Star Snub Week!

Now let's make the All-Star Game more competitive. Losing team's entire conference has to wear Stockton-like short-shorts for a week.

-Some of the good tweets I saw lol.

Someone also did a photoshop of what the Pelicans logo would look like had it kept the original colors.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

The old colors remind me too much of the Nuggets (and of course Charlotte lol). It's not like the new colors are any better though. They said the gold color represents the glitter of the city and the future championships. It's not like the latter is happening anytime soon lol.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

The Clippers SUCK without Paul. He needs to get back on the court in good condition asap before their record goes down the drain. I just couldn't stand watching them play the Suns because of how bad they played.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Their current lineup, added with key draft picks and a good trade or two, could pull them to contention. The Warriors are getting there, so why can't the Pelicans?

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

That gold coloring immediately reminded me of the New Orleans Saints. Tying together the sports teams actually isn't that bad of an idea now that I think about it.

Also yeah. Dem Clippers without Paul are kind of...Idk. Paul is so integral to that team that he's got to be in the MVP discussion. That team would kind of be nothing without him IMO.

dmaster out.

RE: The Official NBA Discussion Thread

Let's all take this moment to mourn Rajon Rondo and the Boston Celtics' season. RIP.
