I have Flygon from Secret Wonders and have a question as to how the poke body works.

It say-" as long as Flygon is your active Pokemon, put 1 damage counter on each of your opponent's Active Pokemon between turns, Excluding (fighting) Pokemon".

1. I assume Active Pokemon means the 1 your are attacking with and not the benched Pokemon.

2. The way I understand it is -- I attack for 60 (its basic attack unless I add a fighting energy) Then it is between my turn and my opponents -so I add 1 damage counter.

3. Then my opponent attacks, and if Flygon is not knocked out, then I would put another damage counter on the defending pokemon before my turn.

Effectively doing 80 damage to the defending Pokemon by the time I attack again as long as Flygon has not been knocked out or unless they use a card or power to prevent me from useing the poke body.

I appreciate each of you taking the time to help us new people out.

Thanks in advance for your help,

Ken

I assume you plan on using a deck with Flygon for States so I thought I might add:

If Sand Sonic's damage KOs the Defending Pokemon, the Pokemon they use to replace their fallen Pokemon will take one from Irritating Buzz.

And remember that if Irritating Buzz is used to KO the Defending Pokemon (60 damage vs something with 70 HP for example), the Pokemon they use to fight next will NOT take an extra damage counter from Irritating Buzz since it's already been used on the previous guy.

Just so you know, you know?
