I have a friend trying to get into the tcg and I need a budget deck idea that isn't the standard golduck or passimian mew. Any help please?

Well what do you call "budget" cause even the cheapest competitive decks cost quite something, I would say greninja break is the best "budget" deck that has seen decent success. placing 2nd at worlds for masters last year and senior 2nd this year. Whilst not using tapu lele GX the deck still isn't quite cheap. Greninja breaks are already about $10 each. But the deck doesn't run any tapu lele gx which makes it a lot cheaper as other meta decks.
Greninja and quad sylveon seem to be the best budget decks atm as stated since they do not require Leles to play which are running for 60 for the cheapest.
I would not recommend Quad Sylveon, as there is a very high skill ceiling when it comes to deciding what cards to get and stuff.
Yea if they are new to the game then not quad sylveon but just throwing out as an option to stay low cost if they have played in previous formats and have decent knowledge of the game.
