Those cards look great, I especially like Skrelp, but what font do you use for the 'after applying weakness and resistance' part???

Thanks! Hopefully you don't like Skrelp simply because it's a BW blank...

For the "after applying Weakness and Resistance)" part is actually the same font used for the rest of the attack description, Gill Sans, but with italics. Does this answer your question?

Doesn't seem broken to me; it's basically the same thing as Jungle Mr. Mime's Invisible Wall, just with 40 damage instead of 30. Maybe the higher HP would make it more annoying...

Now Distortion Antlers; that looks like it could be a pain to work around. Does the two coin-flip rule apply to retreating as well or no?

(These all look great by the way; I particularly love fakes of older sets)

Wow, that cacturne is OP! Nice cards per usual! My favorite is probably Altaria, it looks very realistic (The holo pattern)

Keep in mind I'm making these cards as if they were in the Neo-era, where most fully evolved cards often did 30 damage or less. And as Frezgle stated, Mr. Mime (Jungle)'s power prevented damage 30 or more, so your only option was to inflict a Status Condition or 4shot/2shot is with a 10 or 20 base attack. Here is a similar idea...but either 8shot, 4shot, or 3shot. As Frezgle said, slightly more annoying but nothing too crazy in the Neo-era.

Just attacking. Perhaps I'll change it to include a coin flip for the initial Confusion.

EDIT: Changed base power from 20 to 10 to prevent quicker KOs (if spamming the attack), made an initial coin flip for the Confusion, and clarified only 1 coin flip necessary to retreat. I think it balances the card better...thanks Frezgle!

Unfortunately, I've been sort of neglecting (okay, not just sort of) to post about the updates, but I've been sneakily updating the first post...off the top of my head, some of the new cards include Nuzleaf, Bibarel, Excadrill, Zweilous...and some more. Likely boring ones. Arcanine and Riolu too.

And a quick note about Riolu: because this set is more VG-based than the TCG actually is, I'm making all Baby Pokémon actual TCG Baby Pokémon...including Togepi and Riolu. Because they're Baby Pokémon that were introduced in the same generation their evolved form was, the TCG treats them as Basic Pokémon. So I don't need anyone telling me "Riolu isn't supposed to be a Baby Pokémon!" /rantover

I don't see Exca... Could you add a * to the name of the card when you update the first post? That way one can easily find what's new. Arcanine and Nuzleaf are pretty cool, as well as Bibarel's blank.

Check back though the whole thread and you'll see I always post cards, DN. This was the first exception. An experiment if you will. Decided to sneakily add them to see if anyone noticed. Like a hunt for the new ones, in hopes that you'll catch both new cards as well as old cards you may have missed before.

Thanks to DNA for spoilers. I love the result of holo cards...making them is a pain, though. Added a new type of rarity. Instead of triple star which I've been using for Legendaries, I decided to go with a double star since Phione's Legendary status is oft disputed.

Whoops...you're right, I have 1 Energy in my document. I might leave it there, though, considering Jungle Marowak had a similar attack costing [F][F][C]. Don't know why the cost is so high...

Thanks for letting me know about the broken links! I knew about Rayquaza, but it hasn't been updated to the new balnk so I'm letting it slide. The Porygon-Z had an extra backslash in the link that threw it off. Should be fixed now!

Dat suicidal Pineco... :p I'm guessing he's one of those you're supposed to evolve really quickly :p I like the two-turn concept you've got going with Musharna, it's kind of a buildup, and it's a personal favourite setup of mine (in terms of -making- cards, anyway). :D
